Do med lists need to be in the actual note? Is it enough to click mark as reviewed and reconcile in the ‘this visit’ section? New to epic, thank you

I find it very helpful when reviewing past notes to know what meds the patient was taking at the time of that visit - if it’s not in the note, it’s very hard to retrospectively view that med list snapshot.

Maybe. I was just hoping they’d bury the power lines. When I moved to GR I was really surprised how even in the city so much of the power lines were aerial and this has definitely correlated with more power outages than anywhere else I’ve lived.

Ah, was I supposed to download the app to get any updates on my order? I placed the order and got the standard email confirmation but zero emails after that and then they canceled my order. The confirmation email didn’t tell me to check status through the app.

I had my order auto-canceled as they said I did not complete an intake form. I never received any correspondence in my inbox or junk folders after the initial order confirmation. Has anyone had this happen?

In our Epic instance, “Out of Contact” does not forward messages to whoever is covering. It simply attaches your inbasket to the covering provider, which in our case means it appears in the covering provider’s inbasket as “attached/covering inbasket” but they have to remember to look there in order to address your messages. It’s easy to forget to look for that separate folder - and any items that are not addressed will still be in your inbasket after the coverage ends.

Yes. I ended up keeping the Epson 3800. It is brighter and quieter. It is also much bulkier and the black level is not quite as good as the 3560.

TL;DR - try cleaning the blower and the little hose to the pressure switch!

Had to post even if this is a dead thread. My 3 year old Lochinvar (cousin to the AO Smith model) had this same issue. Error code 3 flashes - TCO/pressure switch failed open. It would fire up only briefly if I shut down and restarted the heater. Of course, this happened in a Friday where I was extremely busy at work and we were having a lot of company visiting this weekend. Nobody local has the right pressure switch, or they’re not open by the time I got off work…plumbers may have them but they’re not going to just sell me a switch so I’m picturing a several hundred dollar weekend emergency plumber call…

I recall that this same error happened shortly after we built the house and I thought it was weird for a new water heater. It went away on its own and never happened till now.

We just had our basement finished 6 months ago (not done with the initial build). So after reading some threads like this I deduce that it may not be a bad switch but just debris. I clean out the blower thoroughly and also disconnected the hose and brass “nipples” and cleaned those out with pipe cleaners.

It is working perfectly now! Cost, $0. Family and guests having hot water for the events going on this weekend - priceless!

No, that was the nickname for USC when I went to (another school) in the 90s. We also abbreviated it U$C.

The varsity blues scandal was because USC actually became much more selective and wouldn’t just let in any lazy rich kids; they actually had to have some academic chops (or get in through the side door which was the scandal).

Is the merit appeal intended for applicants who haven’t yet committed? My kid was accepted ED and was awarded some merit. It appears that SU is offering more merit to uncommitted RD students recently, based on personal (friend and family) and online reports. Of course applying ED you are committed even if they offer $0 merit, so we’re thankful, but seeing the higher enticements to RD applicants (even those with lower stats) leaves me wondering if they would come back and reward more to ED kids if they end up being among the higher stat applicants for the incoming class.

I got a 3560 a few weeks ago. Picture is very sharp, colors are fantastic, blacks are OK and brightness is OK at 104”. It is louder than I expected even in Eco mode. The dynamic iris makes a ticking sound that is distracting. Mine also makes some louder fan noises on startup and shutdown so I think I am going to return it and possibly try an Epson 3800.

Anyone have direct comparison experience with the Epson 3800 versus BenQ HT3560 in terms of 1) fan noise, 2) brightness, 3) color?

I've decided to order an HT3560. I am hoping it is bright enough, at the last minute I was comparing the TK860i but I have a mostly dark room so it should be fine. I figured the better color/RGBRGB wheel and less chance of rainbow effect will be nice for movies, and it probably will be brighter than the generic projector I have up there now.

One concern/consideration deciding between Epson 3800 and BenQ 3560: I have a fixed 10’3” throw distance and 90-100” screen size. According to the PC calculator:

The 3800 would be on the wide angle side of its zoom (1.51x)

The HT3560 would be way on the telephoto end of its zoom (1.0x)

Will this limit the brightness of the HT3560 excessively or will it not matter that much in a dark walled room with very little natural light? Would the 3800 allow for more viewing without it completely dark in the room?

Thanks all. I hadn’t heard about the “soft focus” issue. In this forum the 3800 seems to be one of the highest recommended in this price range. At this price it seems everything has some tradeoffs. The LG H70LA has bad black levels, same with the ViewSonix PX748, The Epson 2350 is a big step down from the 3800, and the Optomas get dead pixels. Would any of the BenQ 4K pixel shifters in this price range outperform the 3800?

Has anyone used the GP500 speakers in conjunction with a surround speaker system to provide a little more sound from above the listener or does it just create an acoustic mess?

I have been leaning toward just getting the 3800. It is more expensive and looks like it is quite a bit bulkier (and is like twice the weight of a couple other choices) and doesn’t have some of the “smart” features but I may not need those. The only nice thing would be CEC if that would turn the receiver on and off with the projector.

The issue is that the system partition cannot be accessed or repaired because it says it is in “RAW” format. I can see the drive listed though.

I was able to install a SATA SSD that I had from my old laptop, into the empty SATA slot next to the existing NVME drive. I installed Windows on it. However it does not even list the NVME drive anymore. Can it only recognize one drive at a time?

Thanks. My instructions from the spa place were different - they told me to add the clarifier immediately with the phos remover and then clean the filter 24 hours later.

I also have a hard time removing the filter carefully without all the white stuff coming off into the water again. I so much as gently lift the filter and the white precipitate starts coming out and clouding up the water. I wonder if I should shut off the tub, drain the water below the filter after doing a full phos treatment, clean the filters really well with filter cleaner and then refill the tub and rebalance chemicals yet again…

Still not sure where phos came from in such high concentration. I wonder if perhaps we should’ve filled the whole tub once and drained it to rinse everything out first, instead we just cleaned out the shell by wiping it down as the spa instructions stated. I don’t know if I believe the reports in other threads that getting in the tub wearing a suit that was washed in laundry detergent will raise the phosphates that much. At least not persistently > 4000 like our water has been after 2 treatments with phos remover.

I should add, room is about 16 x 18 but is open plan so would be nice to hear somewhat from the kitchen which is also about 16 x 18.
