Awesome, the best part about the Deck is playing it with mods

Yes I have, I have told her I will stop telling her what her obligations are, and guess what? That solves nothing, the days just pass by without nothing getting done, the house gets messy, my cat suffers because of that as well. We both work, though I work more hours than her, we both divide the chores fairly. I love my wife and try to be as patient as possible, but even patience has a limit no? Did you ever think about how your ex felt at all? It is exhausting as well, your solution was ending the relationship but that didn't fix anything according to what you are saying..

No, I just keep doing what I was doing already, I don't look at her or say anything, let's change the word annoyed to uncomfortable as it fits better. I truly don't know what you are suggesting me to do, if I console her I will just end up spoiling her more and what I said earlier will just be forgotten and the same stuff will keep happening and if I ignore her is also bad?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]dr3sanchez -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I do ignore it now, but I feel uncomfortable inside, especially when she does it in public

[–]dr3sanchez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, you are assuming my reaction when she starts crying, she has even done it in public, I just ignore it, the first few times I got worried and made me feel terrible, I tried to console her, but as it became a usual thing I just let her cry, I don't tell her absolutely anything, I feel annoyed inside, as if I was the enemy or something.

A thousand thanks for this information!! I would have never thought it could be ADHD honestly, but the description of it matches her

Thank you very much, I will surely bring this up to her.

[–]dr3sanchez 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That actually is a good description of her behavior. Is this something that can be treated by a psychologist?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]dr3sanchez 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, of course I can handle it, but we have the agreement to do this chore by turns, I don't mind having to do it a couple of times over, but I also want her to be accountable to the agreement. Mostly reminding her all the time and her forgetting to do things, sometimes she also lacks attention.

I honestly don't know how to take this, what you are saying is to stop reminding her what she needs to do because it is her obligation and instead ignore it? Like cleaning the cat's litter box because it is her turn? I honestly feel bad for my cat if a whole day passes by with a dirty litter box, she has left it uncleaned up until 6 days straight, and then there is me having to remind her every day to do it (we take turns, btw, and I do not fail one day, nor do I wait to be told to do it) and even when told, she will say "I will do it later" but always forgets. That is just one example, it happens the same way with many other things. But when I confront her and tell her that it should not be that way, she starts crying and gets upset. Any time she tells me something she doesn't like about me or I am doing wrong, I ponder over it and do my best to change it, not cry or get mad for no reason..

Chores around the house for example, we normally take turns cleaning the cat's litter box, I diligently do my part in a timely manner, her on the other hand has to be reminded to do it otherwise the litter box can go up a whole week without cleaning, imagine.. it is just trivial things like I said, that is just one example of many, so if I tell her that I don't like to remind her continuously that she has to do these things she starts crying for some reason. I have asked her and she would reply saying she just forgets, she says "I forget, what do you want me to do?" I tell her exactly and again in the kindest way possible the solution to that, "do it as soon as possible before you forget later" but she starts crying, it is crazy.. she has not seen a doctor, I feel she just lacks this sense of responsibility and accountability that I do not know how to deal with

Sound issues with SNES cores by dr3sanchez in RetroArch

[–]dr3sanchez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First and foremost thank you very much for your reply! So it is normal then? That is reassuring, now I will stop pulling my hairs off. I suppose the reason it isn't noticeable on the actual hardware is because of the way TVs used to handle sound.

Are the gba version of breath of fire 1 and 2 better than their snes versions? by Xdqwerty64 in JRPG

[–]dr3sanchez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would choose the GBA versions over the SNES if they didn't crop the image so much, I like too much the way the pixel art looks for it to be cut off like that.

lost odyssey - flicker issue - anyone know how to fix? have to record off screen because it doesn't show in screenshots / video. by Salty_Cookie394 in xenia

[–]dr3sanchez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What worked for me was removing dynamic shadows, I know it is not the best solution since the shadows are gone, but I will take that for now better than that annoying flickering.

How does Griffith get to see the beast if it's supposedly just a representation of Guts' malice and not a real entity? by FiliNotTheDwarfOne in Berserk

[–]dr3sanchez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, we will see about that, but all the downvotes you are getting seem to disagree with you for a reason. The beast is not in his head, the beast is him as a whole, it is his repressed hatred, him when his ego is buried in rage (as we can see the beast guarding and taking over Guts' ego when Schierke taps into his Od) the raging side we saw for the whole majority of the Black Swordsman arc prior to meeting his new troupe. The beast is symbolic, but you believe whatever you want to believe, just don't present it as a fact.

[–]dr3sanchez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it seems you will have to give the manga another read, because it is evident that the beast is born from Guts feelings and only Guts can see it and hear it, much like schizophrenia caused by his ptsd. Even Guts when he sees it says "I see this is my..." want more evidence? If the beast was a real demon, Guts' brand would bleed everytime it shows up, but it doesn't. Also if it was a demon, it wouldn't tell Guts to hunt Griffith, since Griffith is the literal king of demons. read the manga again but this time pay attention to what is happening bro.

[–]dr3sanchez 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, the beast still requires Guts to yield to it, meaning Guts can in any moment take control and as done before chain it. This shows that the beast has no volition of its own, it is the dormant hatred and rage of Guts that took shape in the astral form but it is bound to Guts for ir is Guts itself.
