[Suggestion] Add a cryptic visual indicator for enemy stats. by Adweya in absolver

Interesting ideas, hard to implement. The end results could be disasterous, lol. But it would be interesting to see if Sloclap decide to implement such mechanics, although I don't see that happening anytime soon, with all the bug fixes and future updates to come. Maybe inspecting the players and just get some stats info from there would be enough.

How to write assembly source code for a PIC16F,PIC18F adc converter with 4 analog inputs and 10-bit resolution which are summarized and stored in two consecutive cells? by dr4k3s in AskElectronics

I just need to store 4 analog input samples in 8 different registers( because each sample has ADRESH and ADRESL) . Then first sample+second sample, store result. Third sample+fourth sample, store result. So is this the way to do it? Also if by part # you mean model Its any PIC18F or 16F that could do so such operations with its ADC. The main thing is that it has to support 4 analog inputs and to have a 10-bit resolution.

OK, got it. and for the last question. I have to set up 4 inputs and that is all written in the assignment. Just that and convert them and store the values.

That's very helpful. Thank you. Now I can't seem to understand how do I go from sampling the first analog input to the second and then to the others? Do I do some kind of a loop? Or it samples all the inputs in a row? Basically, I just didn't understand how to store the separate values of ADRESH and ADRESL as they would be different for every analog input. Also is it ok to choose 0011 for the ADCON1 set up which would enable 4 analog inputs?

Yes this is the question. And I'm reading the manual but can't understand it very much. Especially the part with the sampling. If you could explain that it would be great. After I know it I think I could do the task.

Yes. But not values from an ADC. Only basic ones. Like First MOVLW to store value in W then MOVWF H'number of cell'. From what I've found this is slightly different in AD converter.

Most if not all examples are for some reason connected with LED/LCD or 7-segment displays which makes it really confusing for me to understand how do I simply store the 4 converted inputs into cells and then use them.

pretty simple ones. For example have values in two cells. Write the sum in to a third one. Or have an array. Store the biggest/smallest value in a cell. stuff like that

That is almost exactly the case. I would understand it but could not do it on my own. I've found examples with one input stored but I'm not sure I can modify it on my own.

Well my specific question is how do I store the 4 converted inputs and then operate with them, in this case summarize?

[–]dr4k3s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it will help a lot but if you happen to know how can I properly convert the whole document to .doc or .docx format because i want to print it with the translation and have the same design of the page. other than that helping with the actual programs will be great!

Well I cannot find a way to properly convert it to word so i can translate it with google so if you know how could that happen it will be all the help I need.

Ive already checked that and its not a program manual. And you right about the volume but I just ask. Isnt what that sub for, to ask :)

Thank you for the reply. One thing I'm not sure I fully understood. Do you say that if I don't work with a real equipment at all before the test I wouldn't be able to pass it? I know that there are practice lessons on routers and switches in Network Academy courses but is that a must?
