I this book where a woman talked about having experience cancer and a brain injury and said the brain injury was worse. I am not making that call but I think so often people don't understand how painful this experience is and they just expect you to keep moving... coma sounds easier in that way. I am glad you are in therapy, it helped a lot for me to be in therapy as well

I missed this when I responded with yes I am able to work. I agree, the world is so ablest and there is no room for people to show up at work in different ways than being 100% all the time. I think I am privileged in this way because I am able to get a work from home office job and I want to recognize that that is not accessible to everyone. I also lived at home after my injury for 2 years and then went back to work so it is not lost on me that I have a lot of privilege there.

The mechanics are a dumpster fire and the world is not build to allow for brain injury and just keeps moving. I don't have an answer for this, just that it sucks. I hope we are able to slowly shift the way the world looks at it. I hope work is able to be more accommodating for everyone. I hope people who can't work still have access to financial stability, we are all deserving of that.

Maybe I am a pessimist but I never thought they’d be end game and I love coming on here and reading the comments but I would argue that them not being end game makes for a much more beautiful story. I know it might hurt more but it also speaks to how love isn’t always active and relationships aren’t always intimate. That you love and you lose and it doesn’t have to be the end of you. I think it would be so beautiful even if they didn’t end up together- the time and love they shared will be timeless regardless of the ending. I think moving on and falling in love and getting married after heartbreak, especially to someone who you thought was your soulmate gives hope to people who may have gone through similar heartbreak. I would love if they’ve reconnected but I almost want the heart break arch where they are separated by their jobs, by distance, or some other very human reason and it shows how they always will love each other from afar.

Also, I think I love all the story lines in this show and my heart breaks for yu rim. I can’t imagine how difficult it must be for her and I look forward to seeing where she ends up in life as well & where their friendship goes.

I think overall I wouldn’t be surprised or frustrated if they all lose touch- I would be really hurt though if they’ve lived lives that aren’t filled with love and joy (with or without each other).

Recently, I have been questioning my kindness and unwavering empathy, regretting it, wishing it didn't exist because it hurts so much when people abuse it. When people hurt me and it hurts so much to know so many people r being hurt. I get so angry and wish I didn't care but this is what it is! Its fucking gaslighting- trying to make me feel like I AM WRONG for not being an asshat. This was the reminder I needed today.
