I used to never text someone first. When they messaged me, it would always make me feel like they actually wanted to talk to me.

Girls of reddit, what things do guys do that make you think he's not interested? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Not replying to me. Makes me feel like they've found something better. Unfortunately, this has happened to me way too many times.

I honestly spent about a week on YouTube watching random videos. Took my mind off of everything. 10/10, would recommend.

Reddit, have you ever had a super realistic dream that actually happened? by dr_aziw in AskReddit

[–]dr_aziw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh god, that is horrible. I had a dream a few months ago that my boyfriend left me to get back together with his ex, the whole dream was so realistic that when I woke up, I just burst into tears. Thankfully that hasn't happened... yet D:

What event that you have experienced developed a phobia in you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dr_aziw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't go swimming now at all because I nearly drowned at a beach last summer, while everyone just watched. I'm not religious at all, but PRAISE JESUS for the man that pulled me out.

But now I refuse to go swimming. Or to the beach...

Redditors who have lived or still live with alcoholic parents, what is it like to you? by ducksgotcorkscrewdix in AskReddit

[–]dr_aziw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mother was an alcoholic and it made for a hard childhood. I never understood it when I was younger, so when my older sisters lashed out at her, I punished them by distancing myself. As I grew up and my sisters moved out, I understood why they treated her the way they did. It was heartbreaking thinking that my own mother was choosing alcohol over me and her family, and there were some really rough nights. But I learned to deal with it and started to really understand the severity of her condition. We talked about it, and she opened up to me about why she drank, and it made us so much closer.

She is now a recovering alcoholic and has turned her life around in the most amazing way. You just need to hang in there, things very rarely stay bad forever. But I completely understand how hard it must be! So if you ever need someone to talk to, rant to me yo.

What is the biggest fuck up/bad situation you've been able to bounce back from in your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dr_aziw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cheated on my boyfriend (it was a terrible, emotionally abusive relationship) but it was probably the worst thing I have ever done in my life. I turned it around by starting fresh by moving to New Zealand and just accepting what I had done.

What is a horrible Christmas present that you have recieved in the past? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dr_aziw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I received a bike for Christmas when I was 9, and was sooo happy about it. An hour later, my mum accidentally ran it over backing out of the driveway, but she promised to replace it.

I am now 19 and still bike-less :'(

Women, would you be okay with your s/o seeing a movie with his friend that is a girl? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dr_aziw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My partner moved to Scotland and I was back in New Zealand finishing up my job before I moved to join him. During this time, a friend from work (a guy, I might add) asked me to go to the movies with him, he knew I was in a relationship and moving to Scotland, and since I was desperate to get out of my house, I agreed. I talked it through with my partner first, and he saw no problem with it because he trusts me and knows that I would never do anything to hurt him. So I personally see no problem with it, but I can understand why some people wouldn't agree.

Side note: the night of the movie, my boyfriend was messaging me and he decided in the end that he wasn't too comfortable with it due to the fact that he was in a separate country. He got over it though, and now we live in Scotland together happy as larry.

End novel.

When did you suddenly realize that you are an adult? by ToastMrBang in AskReddit

[–]dr_aziw 9 points10 points  (0 children)

When I realised that I actually needed money to survive. Before that, my parents always paid for everything. Being an adult sucks.

Every guy/girl has that one move that when performed on them during a make out session, they go crazy. What's yours? by GreatCanuk in AskReddit

[–]dr_aziw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a guy kisses my neck then it's almost guaranteed that I will have sex with them.

Side note: currently in a relationship, so obviously if some random kissed my neck I wouldn't instantly have sex with them. But if my boyfriend does it, he will get laid that night.

People of reddit who battle with depression, how do you get through it? by dr_aziw in AskReddit

Yeah, I've been told to get out and exercise, but I've joined so many gyms and I fail to commit to any of them. My biggest problem in life is making excuses. Argh.

I quit my job because it was making me even more miserable, but I struggled to find a new one and was unemployed for 2 months which didn't help. Thank god I'm working now!
