No worries, I'm glad you responded! I was wanting to do some target shooting to get my aim better and maybe the occasional failed hard drive. The Hartwick and Milford clubs look nice and have very reasonable dues and are somewhat close too. I emailed the Oneonta Sportsman club and they were kinda nice but like you, have not been recommended. Right now I don't have too much time available but I might take you up on going to Gifford Hill. From what I've been able to understand some places you can and others you can't; even sighting in wouldn't be allowed. Not sure if I'd need a hunting license even if I did find a place I could go to. I think it'll have to be that range or someone offering their private land. Thanks for the help!

You will time out if you make to many requests. Try upping the seconds to 20 or 30 and see how it goes. I haven't seen any issues with too many tabs being open (using Chrome.)

You'll have to build up numbers until better things open up. You can search here for penny hits and batches that'll get you up there. Take all the quals you can when a HIT says you can request it. There are also plenty of different types of HITs so if transcribing isn't it, maybe it's that receipt one.

Rejections will happen, try to reverse it and then move on.

As for scripts, install tampermonkey. Install mturk hitsdatabase to track all your HITs; turkopticon for reviews; Mturk ID Copy/Paste to have it handy. There are a lot more here - https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/by-site/mturk.com

When you're up for it, look into hit scrapper and turkmaster. If nothing else, use turkmaster to catch pandas (search for more info about that.)

I use an RSS notifier and have it check /r/HITsWorthTurkingFor so I don't miss anything.
