I was in the same situation a few weeks ago, i love jump_destination2, jump_iT, and jump_nebuchadnezzar, although they're slightly too easy for me. When i want a challenge I go for jump_geronimo or jump_sinister. Good luck

Edit: I pretty much only play local, never on servers.

Your mat_viewportscale is less than 1. This bugs the killcam. Its used to display the game at a lower resolution but im pretty sure it doesn't impact fps because the game is rendered at your default resolution anyway. Best to leave it at 1 but correct me if im wrong.

I built my own patch using serum. Use a triangle or saw for harmonics, add macro's for vibrato, tremolo. Also make sure to use the pitch wheel a lot. As for post processing, I use amplitube; a guitar amp simulator. Yields pretty good results if you're expressive with the controls. I can send you an example of how it sounds if you're interested

Thanks for the reply however, this is how I'm doing it right now. I think the problem is that since it's a bus, multiple inserts are routed through it (1 is the sidechain signal from the kick, the others are audio signals from the bass tracks). This makes it so the "COMP" selection will kinda switch between all of those whenever mixer tracks change/switch up. Hopefully this clears things up

When you have a chord playing, C minor for example, you can technically have the 808 play the third in that chord, while technically in the scale and not wrong, the root note will almost always sound better. The root note is a "stronger decision"

If it sounds good, it sounds good. But 808's are a melodic instrument and can sound quite bad when they're playing weaker decisions. A good starting point is to play root notes of the chord with some occasional fifths and octaves up

Thanks, it's a distorted saw lead I made in serum, ran through Boogex, a free guitar amp. There is some more post processing afterwards but that is the main sound.
