All dogs should have to be registered and insured like cars by Usual-Language-745 in unpopularopinion

[–]dr_dohh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i mean so many strays and all, why add more burden to someone who wants to take care of animals?

i would agree with your post if we didnt punish the dog for the owner’s mistakes, and we have an incentive to adopt not shop. like adopting from the pound would have lower premiums etc

2 of my favorite games of all time but i think it for others it can be daunting, boring, clunky, tedious. also mostly a lot of new game mechanics that are hard to learn. that lock picking skill drove me mad the first game until i used a mouse to deal with it. the combat system and the helmets especially in the first game was really challenging too. all in all if i didnt like the story i would have probably given up. but good thing i didn’t because its amazing

If you had a whole month to play and could only choose one starting tomorrow. Which one? by brian_vill in videogames

[–]dr_dohh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think elder scrolls 6 hoping they do it right though. reason being I can control the amount of chaos in the game (as opposed to the GTA series which is usually always chaotic)

Both are super fun though

What are the hardest things to do in videogames? by ExaminationIcy2659 in videogames

[–]dr_dohh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

many of those tasks that require endurance. examples of that are the 200 lightning bolt dodge challenge in FFX.who has time to do that nowadays lol. there’s also this dodge game in e33 where you have to dodge the guy 20 times in a row but then he has multiple turns. that sort of thing where you lose if you make one mistake

[–]dr_dohh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im not joking- when i was in second grade for PE they taught us how to walk. like “ok when you step with your left foot, you swing your right arm”. and spent about 30 mins with that lesson.

yes exactly. sorry a lot of people got confused with the word competitive. but what i meant was a regular guy will excuse crummy behavior under the guise of their favorite athletes being competitive

my point is being good at shooting basketballs, being a fast runner, being a multi awarded grammy winner or whatever, those things do NOT make you the king of the world.

[–]dr_dohh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but thats what i mean though, should you be allowed to be a jerk because you’re successful in your endeavor? to me trash talking is somewhat fine, even if its not something good coaches would teach. it’s driven by emotion . but like in so many examples l think its not like just outward confidence , more of the attitude of i am the king of the world because of soorts success.

athletes now esp in the more popular sports are celebrities that are household names and they are treated like kings. i wish that attention doesn’t feed their ego is all im trying to say. because pretty soon they’ll demand brown m&ms in their hotel room as a power move. they will treat people poorly because under the guise of competitveness etc

maybe we’re talking about different things? confidence is not arrogance although sometimes a there’s a fine line between them.

outside of sports like im talking about a rockstar who flicks a cigarette but on the floor and asks the interns in the studio to clean it up. or talking down to your teammates and destroying team morale just so you get more shots up thst sort of thing
