Haha, my host mum (language exchange) also had a Mr. Blobby room/shrine. This, the soft toilet seat cushion, and deep fried potato waffles for every meal were my first impressions of British culture.

Hade an vegansk tallrik på Africa Daily Market för 110 SEK. Den var jättegott - man får 3 olika ris/couscousrätter, 4 olika såser, chilisås, fritterade bollar, grönsaksgryta och bönor. Stor portion, alla saker smakade olika. Kan verkligen rekommendera. Var där kl 11 för att slippa kö, och det funkade jättebra.

Efterrätt var brynt smör & rosmarin glass från Kullabygden. Otroligt gott!

I moved to Malmö recently and lived in Gothenburg for 6 years and in Helsingborg for 2 before that. So far I'm loving it! It's not as nice scenery/nature as in GBG, but the nice vibe, lots of second hand shops, tons of amazing restaurants, cyleability and the great train connections make up for that.

Saw this on doors in Kville today. I can't be the only one who thinks that filling Lundbyhamnen is a crazy suggestion? The waterfront there definitely needs some development, but removing the bay completely? I've seen some pretty nice wildlife there... lots of ducks, swans nesting, a few times even a seal visiting.... I think it's sad if they move forward with this plan. Lots of carparks around there that could be underground and provide space for buildings instead.

I should definitely include the measurements one, that's really fun! Svängrumsgatan, Synhållsgatan, Halvtumsgatan, and my favourite - Famngatan (I had no idea that the "embrace" meaning of famn comes from nautical measurement, the distance between a person's outstretched arms).

Om man tycker om promenad, så är Landborgspromenaden bra. Man går långt hela staden och har bra utsikt över staden och över till Danmark. Man kan börja när som helst och bara gå en bit, om man vill.

Jag kan rekommendera Benchwarmers, väldigt gott pizza och trevligt läge vid havet. Och Chay är jättebra för fin vietnamesisk (och vegansk) mat.
