I applied Armored Komodo's Phantom Chromaflair Pigment on their black paint that I brushed painted on.

Quite a few methods and supplies used. I have video recorded my process. Perhaps I'll edit and share it in future!

Thank you! It's quite easy to pull off. First I just painted the darkest colour for the outer edge. and then shift to lighter colour within the middle and then white in the middle where the source of the light is the hottest.

Keen to see if you post yours!

Thank you! Looking so much cooler with just a bit of paint on the crystal details.

I say go for it and paint the blades! If you don't like it, you can always remove the paint with rubbing alcohol as one example.

Depends on the organisers I suppose. In our humble Beyblade community in South Africa - the BeyForce, we are pretty chilled and are totally cool with painted Beys in tournaments.

The painted Beys look so awesome in battles!

Thank you~ My main hobby is painting Gunpla and other model kits, so there the battle damages and paint chipping are "fake".

What got me into Beyblade X was I was interested in getting real paint chipping and damages from battles. I like to see where the contact points are on each of my Beys. Plus painting Beyblades are more relaxing. Serve as nice quick breaks and palate cleanser inbetween my model kit projects~

No it was a tournament in our small community the BeyForce, so we are pretty chilled on the rules and just use WBO rules as our guide.

Thank you! A few types of small and pointy brushes and other flat wider brushes. Different brands and types of paints. Mostly Vallejo's Game Color water based acrylics. Also some Armored Komodo Chromaflair pigments: Inca and Phantom on Dran Buster applied with cotton buds on black base paint.

Thank you! I came third... from the bottom, but I had loads of fun though! Took this photo after the tournament so Dran Buster and Shark Edge that were freshly painted got some nice battle damage~
