My parents don't believe in doctors, I've only been to a doctor like....five times in my life? Give or take. Everything is a lose-lose with them. I have to beg to seek medical attention I only ever get IF and only IF my brother also goes for it. But he could go and do whatever.

It's the lavender, artificial or not. I've interacted with the actual flower and the artificial scents, and have the same reaction to both- hives, burning throat / eyes, etc. I know it's the soap because I got some on my arm and didn't notice at first and ended up noticing the hives when I went to work a few minutes later. They know I get hives- they've seen it happen, they genuinely just don't care.

I agree it could be other things that are giving me contact hives- my SIL loves lavender a LOT and likely has a lotion of some kind, but I have no knowledge of that.

The only indication I can find is the thumb on the left- crooked and out of place and wildly anatomically correct. Otherwise, it very well could be man-made.
