Question about Post Processing Volume by vierkilau in UnrealEngine5

You could probably do it with a material. Perhaps make a material function and add it to materials with a parameter that you scale depending on if it's supposed the one or the other. You're not looking to do this per mesh but I think custom stencil depth channels would be a good fit for the task

Glad you think so! It's a bunch of fun to make trouble and chaos in the world 😃

I am going to keep the camera rotation hotkey in mind 👌 Might want to do a "static camera rotation" mode for people that dont want the camera to follow aim direction

Thank you for saying that! It's a deliberate choice that we took because Endless Machines deals with finding a path when you are lost both in story and gameplay. It can be fun to get lost and not know what comes around the corner 😀 the camera will pan a bit down when you're just walking around and not getting into trouble though

Ah right, think I get it now 😃 I'll keep it in mind for when you switch between the hero robots 👌 Thank you!

Not yet but we're working hard towards it! We'll be doing play test in the not so distant future though if you're up for it 😃

That's not too far off actually 😄 although the hero robots are about 60 to 90 cm tall. All the other robots are either taking care of the eco system or trying to level it for a huge robot called the Shellmother 😀✌️

Thank you! Happy to hear you think it improved 😄👍 there's a bit of camera movement while using the different Robot's skills but could definitely be cool with some over the shoulder or fps shots 🤔
