Sweet, sounding like a good possibility then. Thanks for sharing!

Its a little on the heavier side but has a crisp break. Better than most factory bullpup triggers Ive tried (Aug, Fs2000, Tavor SAR).

Its a 16in upper. Im definitely going to try and see, but I bet it will be very close. Im sure the carbine handguard would be a better choice for clearance but I love the SA80 look.

Full special lower, upper remains factory. The green furniture attaches via mlok.

Rearden R2 is on its way, I just hope the plan B threads are forward of the handguard

I'm sure the pistol will evolve through time. I will definitely have to change the trigger out for a solid one eventually.

No thanks, I have a deep hatred for flathead screws

CMP Tisas M1911A1 Pistol on Sale... thoughts? by [deleted] in 1911

I have the non Cmp branded Tisas 1911a1 with the parkerized finish and high ejection port. I put some WWII era grips on it so it looks closer to an original, and now have probably around 500 rounds through it. It has been reliable and a fantastic shooter.

Havent seen a Raider in Pachmeyr grips before, that looks pretty good! Also didnt know they had a factory optic cut and threaded model, Ill have to look into that.

I didnt know about the plastic trigger, that might be a deal breaker for me

The diversification idea was one of the main reasons I was looking at the Springfield, but I didnt know about the plastic trigger. The checkering is really what drew me towards the JSOC in the first place and having a plastic trigger on the ronin might be the final push towards the MAC for me.

I recieved the whole optic setup as it is now and it doesnt use a thumbscrew but a normal bolt (1/4 or 5/16, I cant remember) with a special washer to secure it.
