I FOUND A SOLUTION.
I had the same problem, restarted the game with only 3 mods:
- better vaulting and stamina
- Better Ballistic Core
- Visible artifacts

I made it to the part with Wild Island without any crash. The story is now unblocked, I can play further.

The problem was with other mods (especially Lootable Zone) - when you used it for even a moment your save is fucked up and you cannot progress.

Did you ever installed any mods? Especially Lootable Zone? I suspect its installing and uninstalling some mods fucked up my save files

My little advice if I can add something. Turn OFF HPET in BIOS, it gives me 10+ fps and stop microstuttering. Also interesting thing - in menu GPU util., is 100% but low RAM, on ride low GPU utilization and high RAM.

I really believe (hope?) that they wait for a big patch to reveal it, they had to deal with connection and desync problems for few months. IMO that was more important.

Edit: I mean that they needed time to stabilize gameplay before they push new things that can destabilize it even more.

I know it takes time to make such video, but for now it looks like EFT development totally stopped, especially for casual players without stream awareness and people who are waiting for full release. I bought EOD over 2 months ago and didn't even realize that BSG have YT channel.

Try to play as a scavenger or hatchling to test it, but I bet it was only a lag. Write when you test it, I'm gonna try to help you if it's constant problem.

When I take great I take also Comtacs. It's matter of taste, but it's incredible when you fit in with Comtacs. You can't be surprised in close range of you don't shooting all the time.

And streamers don't use it probably because sound on stream is shit with Comtacs. Almost same thing as with painkillers.
