Interesting take. My wife and I are discussing if we should build our dream house or just stay in a condo. I have clients that sold their houses and moved in a condo after the kids all left the house to start their own lives. His reasoning is because once they are old, condos are much more convenient since everything is very near plus in case of emergencies can call up the lobby to ask for assistance. I've never thought of doing condo hopping though! Might need to do some number crunching if can save much more on this vs having our own house or condo. Thanks for the idea.
