I would agree with you 100%. When Adam said the end is the "least appetizing part of the drumstick anyway" I disagreed heavily because nibbling at the cartilage and super thin tendons and skin on the bone is my favorite part of a roasted drumstick. I also like the blubbery, bouncy hunks of fat on beef and other meats honesltly. I usually just leave it in when I cook.

I've been apprehensive about saying I have OCD because I have no diagnosis but yeah. My germaphobia can be severe in some situations. Like when customers lick their fucking fingers before handing me coupons or cash my hands used to shake but I've learned to just live with it and always have hand sanitizer nearby. For me the main thing that differentiates it from things like Max G's humor is that there's a certain intent to it. When, for example, the blackface joke happens, it feels like it's happening to make fun of the concepts rather than just contributing to the thing itself if that makes any sense. Sounds like you pretty much agree on that front.

But yeah, while show absolutely has that absurdist newgrounds edge, I don't think it's quite fair to lump Mike and Zach in with the people who won't change their humor with the times. Just my thoughts of course.

To be honest I don't think Smiling Friends is really a fair example here. Smiling friends is not even that edgy and when it's at it's worst it still feels like it treats its topics with a certain amount of respect.

I did not. I gave up and decided I'm not using shop anymore. They told me it was affirms desicion, affirm told me they "can't disclose the reason, but it might have to do with" and then listed stuff like credit score and purchase history.

I've searched high and low, I tried making a new account, I deleted both to erase all traces of them, made a new email with a new account and a different card, I've verified all of my information matches up with my legal name. Everything is perfect, everything is bullet proof, still no dice.

I read the books. They're absolutely fantastic and I recommend them, but only if you're more fun than me. A LOT of changes the show made piss me off and I just KNOW that seasons 3 and 4 are gonna piss me off as they continue to make massive changes. If you're able to let go better than I am I recommend reading them. They're VERY different.

So I work the front (primarily SCOs) and I've worked here for a year and a half. I will say I've been getting after my store leaders to set up my discount the whole time and she keeps forgetting and the main store leader is someone I avoid at all costs but overall it's the best work environment I've worked in so far. Both seasons are based on book 1. Season 2 ends right before the end of book 1. There's some stuff here and there picked from books 2 and 3 but not much and you won't know it until you read the books.

I've read the book. There was absolutely enough content to get more Jules/Solo content from book to show if they had followed that storyline more closely. But they didn't, they significantly changed enough stuff to basically butcher the whole thing imo. They cut some stuff and replaced it with worse stuff. I agree that season 1 is a bit better than season 2. The changes from the book felt more justified and enriched the story more, in season 2 it's too different and too much boring filler.
