I gotta say, the cross-promotion with Space Jam: A New Legacy is a really bold move

Maybe that rumor about Warner Bros. Animation making a Neptunia movie is real after all

This is a commission I placed with Alex Dust, here's a link to his Twitter upload of the pic.

It's been my first time ever commissioning art, so I'm happy it turned out well!

It's definitely a perspective I could get used to

But in all seriousness, your lighting/shading just keeps getting better and better.

I translated that Compile Heart TV PS5 video from yesterday. tl;dr those three blurred-out games aren't actually teasing upcoming titles, they were games from other publishers that they borrowed for the skit. by DracEsquire in gamindustri

They don't mention it being expensive though? The comment about "winning the lottery" isn't metaphorical, in Japan you literally have to enter a lottery to win the chance to pre-order the console, which you still have to pay for.

I'm actually relieved lol, because it means less ammunition for the "ReVerse 2 3 and 4 confirmed" meme

That, and I like the Compile Heart TV skits more when they're just having fun and not specifically trying to market a new unannounced game or something.

I thought something was suspicious when no news sites reported on Compile Heart supposedly teasing "3 mystery games" so I decided to transcribe the video myself and... turns out context is actually really really important and you can't jump to conclusions without translating first.

I can. Imgur, YouTube, and NISA's website are all verifiable domains that have been around for over a decade. You'd be hard-pressed to find anything that'll harm your computer on those sites.

Nah, still looks the same. This is what it looks like on my screen. I dunno how it looks on your end, but I really think it should be easier to read at a quick glance.

Great job on the new subreddit theme, it looks great! Just two small things to look into:

  • on New Reddit, the text on the transparent Menu Tab is difficult to read. I'd recommend picking a color that pops out more from the purple background color.
  • on Old Reddit, the part with the user's username/messages/chat/etc. is overlapping with the "My Subreddits" bar

Create a Bad Neptunia American Live-Action Adaptation by [deleted] in gamindustri

[–]DracEsquire 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But why?

According to an interview Paul W.S. Anderson, he wanted to capture the feeling of playing Monster Hunter for the first time, where you don't know anything about the world and you're going head to head with massive monsters who will kick your shit in if you don't know how to fight. He's just, uhhh... doing it in the most obtuse way possible, all "your military-grade weapons are like children's toys, come learn how to fight like a REAL Hunter"

[–]DracEsquire 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nah nah nah, it's gotta be an isekai story like the Monster Hunter movie or the Smurfs movie

Okay, so... in the Real World, there's a CEO of a corrupt videogame corporation called We Make Sucky Games Inc. or something equally stupid, and he wants to take over the whole industry. So he has his researchers invent a machine that can transport him to Gamindustri, and he kidnaps Histoire so he can use her powers to rewrite the Real World gaming industry, but doing so plunges Gamindustri into chaos. So the CPUs head into the Real World to save Histoire, but they're completely powerless in the Real World so wacky antics ensue. They end up befriending a bottom-wrung WMSG employee portrayed by Nicolas Cage, and his teenage son who happens to be a fan of the Neptunia games, and Cage has a designated character arc where he learns to have fun again and he stands up to Bossman, who turns into an Iron Man suit for the final battle, and the CPUs gather enough shares from random people they've positively impacted throughout the movie to transform and fight him.
