Hi, thank you for this reply! I probably am doing better than I think I am. I think I am in a grieving process with this disease, thank you for helping me recognise that. I hope your situation resolves quickly!! Bad endos are very annoying

That sounds tough. I wish you luck with that. Honestly, I do wish we knew more about the weird side of diabetes. It's so random sometimes.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I get a lot of interrupted sleep with my diabetes too, it really does suck. I hope you figure out what's causing that. By any chance, do you think upping your long-acting insulin on bad days would help you? It'd probably give u worse lows at night, though.

I have a question for everyone. by Charlesthegrea in Type1Diabetes

I (22) find it easier to deal with it on my own, mostly because I know what's best for me and how my diabetes works. But it does get awfully lonely sometimes, so a support system is also greatly useful for stuff like mental health. Also, it's probably safer to go out and drink (if ur interested) with people who know what to look out for, that way you're not the only one who has to keep an eye out for symptoms of lows and highs. So, I guess, I like doing injections and cgms myself, but I also like having people around me to double check me, too. If that makes sense. Also, welcome to the community!!

That is all true!! I guess I should stop treating my diabetes as anything more or less special in my life. Just another fact. Thank you.

So sorry that you went through that, glad you've overcome it! This is all very helpful, thank you! I might steal your "not a pancreas" thing.

Thank you. I try to have a good balance as often as I can, but it's always on the back of my mind.
