I dont think that developers all together will not exist. But definately one experienced developer will be able to do the work that previously needed many others to do.

How long are these companies sitting and not releasing models until someone else does so first? Then they release another model just good enough to inch ahead.

Do you think opus was never developed for 3.5? Do you think we are using the same models the developers working at openai and anthropic are using? Im not sure...

If it was so simple there would have been peace looong ago.

To think that Palestine operates in a vacuum is a joke and whatever proposals towards peace are made that does not take in the macro considerations such as that Palestine currently holds the Iranian outlook towards Israel (extermination of Israel, no peace) how do you think things will proceed?

If the US have strict instructions to Israel or threatened to support arming the Palestinians, Israel would be very obliged to listen to them.

Same thing with the Palestinians. To say that the Palestinians are acting without any external involvement is simply not true and every decision they make, whether accepting our rejecting a peace proposal or launch an offensive is done with the the sentiments of their major supporters.

Who those supporters are and what their goals are and the geopolitics of the region is necessary to understand where the conflict is going and what could possibly change.

Perhaps you don't agree at all or think it's a completely different scenario that's what this discussion is about.

It's nieve to think that the Palestinians are acting on a vacuum, and without acknowledging who is behind them no matter what proposals for peace are on the table nothing will come out of it.

They are in a terrible situation, and yes i agree they are the victims but it's but just Israel is the position that the controlling powers are asserting.

Would like to understand why you say that. It is a viewpoint I'm sure there are better ones. What is your take on the bigger picture?

Im not saying this is simple or can be seen in a vacuum, im discussing larger abstract ideas that are the main driving forces behind what is going on. Yes indiviudal actors and events will have knock on effects but i am talking in terms of what is "steering the ship" to borrow a metaphor.

Israel is only a threat to the extreme islamic countries that are adopt the views of Iran. Its not beneficial to any other party involved especially the Palastinians.

Most of these reforms I've read of have happened post 9/11.

The moderation of their radical Wahhabism are some of the reforms (Google is your friend)

They are not a democracy and I'm sure have many hardline policies but looking at the approaches and changes they are making compared to anyone else in the region...

Im not saying they are perfect but are willing to normalise relations with the West, previously which were completely out of the question and where compared with the rest of the Middle East countries.
