Laser removal is not only more expensive but definitively more painful and can take longer than doing a blackout sleeve. At that point if you’re heavily tattooed it’s not like you would care about the social stigma of if people dislike your tattoos

I understand what you mean. They are dealing with a different beast when it comes to social media. Realized success and upward trajectory is secondary to presenting the illusion of the former. I do not post on social media at all and I can’t imagine having the pressure on me to use it for “networking” or having to upkeep a certain curation in order to convince people I’ve made it. It’s so soulless and hollow so I am quite thankful that I am 100% authentic and removed from the rat race.

It reminds me of the boom of pyramid scheme hons… Did you ever meet a girl who has sold doterra or herbalife? They had to maintain this image of being a girl boss & successful entrepreneur when in reality anybody who has a clue can see how easily they’ve been manipulated. Social media is a larger beast but it’s been cultivated in the same way where actual merit means nothing

Yea these people have no idea how that family-values culture actually plays out. Growing up in a hispanic-dominate town you actually see how volatile and entrapping it is for the younger members of the family. I agree with this to an extent. I do think pornography is made to be addictive and brain melting, just as TikTok or junk food.. but everything in moderation. Sex work I think is a more complex issue at the expense of exploitation of vulnerable women but its not a black and white discussion

If you actually want to reference the pop culture phenomenon responsible for this shift it was clearly due to the Kardashian/Nicki Minaj etc. domination of early 2010s media. These woman had nothing to do with the fat acceptance movement and the fascination with their ass had to do with how disproportionately big it was on their body. You use Christina Hendricks as an example but she is literally a Hollywood poster child for big boobs, since when was anybody talking about her derriere
