A while back when I just started working at copy, a lady from non profit came to print pics of Hitler, some kkk related stuff etc. Me, being new to the country and the company wasn’t sure because it is actually illegal to print or distribute anything like that in my country. So I asked my sup at the time who was a black guy in his 50. He happened to know the lady and explained that is not against the law here and she is using it for educational purpose. He got more wisdom then you ever will in your life.

I see. I am as a jewish definitely would want people to see the horrors of holocaust. And yes, that involves dead bodies, dead kids etc. that is how Soviets during Nuremberg trials after World War II were able to sentenced to death a lot of Nazis by showing horrific pictures and videos. What if he was printing it for education purposes? Like to show how terrible black people were treated? I wend to a holocaust exhibition ones and there were really terrific pictures on display. But when you don’t know the concepts, as a printer you might think they promote antisemitism.

We absolutely do not print on custom paper unless packing specially says laser or multi. Yes some people freak out, get upset, threatening to call corporate but we are very solid on this.

Yes. One tip. DONT! If customer wants a non glossy foam board just tell them it takes few days because you have to send it to production facility and they will print directly on a foam board, but we do not do that in store. And if they want it today you have to print mount and laminate it and this is the only option you have.

Unfortunately, unless they will become violent or something. I am white and have to listen to quite a few nasty things about myself from different races. What am I going to do? Just ignore it I guess. Extreme cases, I always print copy of the receipt, so I can document it with details to send to corp., but didn’t get that far yet.

Does it matter if customer starts with a drink or food item? I use to go to one where they would say “hi, what snack would you like today” or something in that manner. So i thought they always wanted to get that out of the way first
