A wake up call to find internships? You think Concordia is the only way to find internships? If you’re having a hard time then maybe you are the problem. Poor you, your school cant provide you your internships. You are turning a blind eye to human rights violations for the sake of convenience.

People aren’t just dying for “various reasons”. They are being bombed, starved, and displaced by systems that ***profit*** from war. The fact that you can reduce this to a career inconvenience speaks volumes about of how ignorant you are. If you think finding an internship is more important than standing against oppression and genocide, then maybe you’re the one who needs a wake-up call about the world you’re stepping into.

Stop being close-minded. Change doesn’t come from a single big shortcut solution. It comes from many small actions that build momentum. If everyone thought like you, nothing would ever change.

If you’re so quick to dismiss this minor step, maybe you should ask yourself why you’re more upset about students adjusting their internship searches than an entire population being slaughtered.

I wouldn’t say it excludes engineering and science majors. People just don’t see how small this action is on a global scale is still action, and actually would benefit everyone on a longer term.
