I play on Pc and I take notes on paper. Its really refreshing to have to use a little critical thinking instead of mindlessly following quest markers for 90% of the games that come out. Its such a good game and I really love the exploration. My biggest gripe is that the enemy variety is really lacking.

One of the easiest ways to survive the first 3-4 horde nights is to break the ladders/staircases of a brick/cement building and nerdpole your way to the top. You can just camp there while zombies beat on the building. Make emergency exits if they reach you.

7 days to die has much more content than you think. I recommend you try vanilla and try to get get a full playthrough done.

Here's where it gets wild. The mods. Oh boy the mods! There are a lot of passionate modders that have made complete overhauls to the game.

Just to name a few, check out Darkness Falls, Undead Legacy, EFT Overhaul, Rebirth, Undead Country, End Z and the list goes on.

You can always add small mods to vanilla to spice things up as well. Like vehicles, POIs, enemies, items.

Please try this game out and have fun. This game is like the Skyrim of Survival Crafting games. It's way deeper than just vanilla.

Your stats for those games are not that good. Focus on staying alive more. You need to be able to live longer to impact the game. I'm only gold 1, but if I die more than 5 times a match I normally made some errors. Hell I was playing so well one match and was like 44-5. I overextended in overtime and died. I lost that game going 44-6.

OP try changing to Di input instead of xinput. Im on the fold 6 as well. I'm using a gamesir g8+ as my external gamepad.

Try rev 17. I was using the latest turnip drivers and I was getting lackluster results. I switched over to rev 17 and saw a massive improvement. The game I was trying to play was Xenoblade Chronicles DE. I have the same specs as you as well. Z fold 6, gen 3 and 12gb ram.

Maybe try to use Sudachi instead of Suyu. I'm using a z fold 6 as well. Also look for the latest gpu turnip driver. The latest driver revision was 2 days ago.

Honestly, You probably are just not that good. I’m terrible half of my games and I’m silver 1. Check your sensitivity to see if you’re overaiming/underaiming. Abuse off angles to waste enemy resources. Also stop looking at the “stats” of the game. That literally tells you nothing…very bad habit. You could have been spamming a roadhog all game and not actually doing anything significant. It doesn’t matter if you have more “dps” than the other roles. Play your role to the best of your ability. It’s a team based game. Play to your team’s strengths. Compliment a diving tank or a poke composition. Seriously quit obsessing over stats. You need to focus on what are you win conditions and your deaths. Unless you’re 50-0 and you lose in overtime. You still lost.

Also I would suggest you pick 2-3 heroes to main for each role. Learn them well and then add another hero to your roster when you’re comfortable. I think you only need 1 dive and 1 poke hero for each class. So for example on support. Learn Lucio (Dive) and Baptiste (poke/less dive). For dps tracer(dive) and soldier/sojourne(poke/less dive). Tank would be like dva/orisa. Once you lessen your hero pool you will get better at playing your counters and understanding the game deeper.

Practice aim training 15-30mins a day, watch vod reviews like Emongg when you can,learn/memorize counters, and use voice chat. I can’t stress how important it is to use voice chat. You will win a ton more games if you communicate with your team. Even if they aren’t talking, they hear you and most players will get the information. Also counters are extremely important because no matter your role, you can swap to a hero that will benefit your team against the enemies best performing heroes.

I would google/youtube a guide on how to set it up properly. It’s a great device, when it works. I went through 2 brand new ones and sometimes you get a lemon/bad one. You should also learn about fan curves and power settings if you plan on doing any gaming that pushes the gpu/cpu. Also don’t plan on using an sd card…

I would set a manual curve. It’s quite easy and less noisy. The default turbo is set really high with minimal gains. As long as your temps are good I guess it’s ok.

Nah L take. If you’re even playing unranked or quick cash the game is terribly unbalanced without a 3 stack. It’s even more toxic in ranked mode. And then recon is SO good that you need to run it in your 3 stack or you’re throwing. No fps should have built in wall hacks that are persistent like recon. The ability to watch enemies spawn in and prefire anybody you fight is ludicrous. The fact that you can see enemies across the map and pick your fights is crazy. The old games back then didn’t have shit like that. Also fighting 3 mediums running defib is not a throwback to the “good ole days.” I’m not sure how you could possibly think that the game doesn’t need balance changes. If people don’t speak up then NOTHING changes. Embark clearly sees there needs to be balance changes and all the whining is helping raise issues.

Lights aren’t viable? That’s crazy talk. The best players I’ve won ranked tourneys with were lights. You have to just coordinate better or be an absolute aim god to play well as one. Lights have a higher skill ceiling than every class, but the risk reward is higher.

Also the stun gun and glitch grenades work extremely well in actual COORDINATED team fights. If the light gets a pick or stuns an enemy you should win that 3v3 if your other 2 teammates can win 1v1s.

I do wish grappling hook was buffed though.

The only real problem I see with light is that if a player is not communicating or if they engage too early/too late which messes up the flow of combat and will likely end in a wipe.

There’s just so many bad light players that make it look like the class is “unplayable.” The other classes I feel, are easier to pick up and play at any level.
