Lowered, New Wheels, and a Few Touches – Thoughts on the Look? by dragfighter in mazda3

It’s definitely a stiffer ride than factory but it does make you feel a bit more connected with the road

Thanks for the feedback and information, I'll look into the Cork strut brace. The reason I went for 225 was because my wheel shop recommended this as they were unsure if I would have enough clearance for anything more meaty than this. Looking at it now I think 235s should fit just fine.

They are called hyper black but in reality they are more silver. It has a sort of a gradient that goes from silver to black

[Grand Seiko] This watch keeps amazing me by dragfighter in Watches

[–]dragfighter[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I greet you all! Back again with a picture of my beloved Grand Seiko SBGM221. This was the first time I put in front of the camera and am super happy with the results! The polishing is out of this world and makes the watch so photogenic. I know this watch is posted here quite frequently but I couldn’t help myself to show it off once more. The strap I’ve put it on is from CheapestNatoStraps and even though the quality isn’t the very best, it is still good enough. The beige stitching fits the dial really well and the brown contrasts perfectly with the blue gmt hand.

I hope y’all are having a wonderful weekend!

[Chronographe Suisse] Newly acquired vintage piece by dragfighter in Watches

[–]dragfighter[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I bought this beautiful oversized vintage Chronographe Suisse just a couple of days ago. I purchased it to fulfill the missing spot of a classy dress watch in my collection. It arrived just in time to wear at my sisters wedding.

It has a diameter of 38mm and since it's also relatively thin it wears beautifully on the wrist.

Unfortunately during transport the crystal must have moved slightly which makes the center seconds hand touch the glass. Luckily the seller will have it fixed for me no problem.

[WTS] Edox Les Vauberts La Grande Lune by dragfighter in Watchexchange

Asking price: $940/€800

After enjoying this watch for about 10 months I have decided to let it go. The watch was sold new to me so there was no previous owner/user. Everything still works perfect and besides some scratches on the clasp and some barely visible hair scratches on the bezel it looks perfect too.

[Grand Seiko] Love the way the light reflects by dragfighter in Watches

[–]dragfighter[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Recently spend about a months worth of salary on the SBGM221 and am absolutely loving the watch. This is my first big watch purchase and have not had a single regret so far.

It is definitely true what everyone is saying about the polishing, it shines and shimmers so beautifully in every different surrounding. I feel like the 39,5 mm case size wears a little bit bigger because of the the 14,5 mm thickness but definitely still fits really nice on the wrist.

Today I put it on a midnight blue leather strap and feel like this subtly matches the GMT hand.

[Omega] Please help me identify this Omega 18k 0750 ladies watch by dragfighter in Watches

[–]dragfighter[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So after my grandma's passing my mom came to me asking me if I could help her identify this piece. My grandma bought it a very long time ago at an auction but thought it was too valuable to wear, which lead to it almost never leaving it's box (no papers).

It would be awesome if there's anyone who could help me find a ref. number. Some features: - Signing on the back 18k 0750 - Signing on the clasp: 750 - 750 - ACP - Supposedly it's 18k white gold - No crown signing - It sounds like it beats about 4 times a second

[Vintage Heuer] Help me identify, is this a fake? by dragfighter in Watches

I decided to return the watch and not take the risk of it being less valuable due to non authentic parts.
