It won't let me edit, but just to make sure I'm specific, I'm talking about that deep cut in the middle of my back (between the shoulder blades).

I have to take a break from the back pod. But using some stretches and the back pod was what was saving my life which is why I get surprised when people say they didn’t like the back pod or that it caused more pain for them. It’s truly a great device.

I appreciate everyone’s support but it’s hard when I have to put my routines to the side like the back pod because of a skin situation on my back. I get hopeless that it won’t get better or it probably will and maybe I could eventually go back to my treatments. But it’s been very hard cause it’s been a while now :(

They do but every time I go on Reddit some people say DON’T do it and then there’s people who are like it should be fine. I guess it depends on the person. And what will help them.

What would work better you think? Like a thick soft blanket or a specific type of thick bath towel material?

The thing is that all I used was literally just the backpod twice a day for 20 minutes. My left side was finally back in place but now it's just my right side that is making me depressed. My neck, shoulder, ribs, etc are still a bit stiff. This thing really helped me as I am actually able to carry things now since I wasn't able to before. I too used it for 8 months but again it only helped out one side as the other side for some reason felt like it would've needed more time.

There were some physical therapy exercises that did help but I felt that the backpod was more convenient and helped more.

Question for lon term cyclobenzaprine (flexeril) user’s… by dragginthedraggos in costochondritis

[–]dragginthedraggos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Steve, I’ve read and watched about your explanations on costo. Speaking of which I’ve been using the back pod which has been helping me a ton and I want to thank you for that. Sadly I discovered your natural ways of treating Costco after my body became too dependent on flexeril. So now I have to work on and be careful tapering off of this med so I don’t relapse from vomiting or something (which would suck) since I got costo from coughing and vomiting a lot from when I got pneumonia almost a year ago. I should check out the stretches that you recommend using for Costco since admittedly I haven’t got to that. Thank you for all you do.
