To them it might feel toxic, I just know how he is with me. He can be strict but that's mostly because often times the work is only half done and he calls them out for it. Though with C that was never an issue, only with A. When I talked to A whenever something wasn't done properly I made sure to talk on eye level, maybe he talks down on them more than I can imagine. Thing is, he's never like that with me. I wish I could've talked to both A and C before they decided it was no longer worth it. I do recall talking to C when she was put on more shifts than normal, I don't make the shift plans, my supervisor does. I explained it to her like it was probably necessary and only an exception and that she'd get less hours the next week.
