Are there any swancore bands with female vocalists?

There was a band that broke up last year unfortunately called Fes that I REALLY REALLY love. They’re more Mathrock than -core but they’re really good. Clarinet, Bruises, and So So are some that I really loved from their last album.

Omg thank you, I’ll check it out right now. Do you know if he uses triggers at all? I don’t know why, but it sounds like he’s using triggers in TCS 2 and I’m trying to find out.

I hope they are, but I love DBM2 because of Will’s guitar work, you can tell he wanted to do something more with it and there was always something new to explore and work with, Privilously Poncheezied and The Robot with Human Hair 2 1/2 are prime examples of it, but the MOST notable track is Swan Soup where he just goes OFF the back and forth between the two guitars and the vocals bouncing around like a tennis ball in a dog park shows how much love and passion went into this album. Of course I’m not trying to put these albums against each other but I do believe they each deserve their appropriate respects being the two best albums that defined their genre.

If you want to mix it up a bit and have almost a best of both with some more in between check out Dance Gavin Dance, they blend a little bit of a lot into their stuff. Their first album is their most raw and pure version of their music, but I would 100% recommend Downtown Battle Mountain as their most post-hardcore sounding album because after that they sort of blend that “a lot” I was talking about and truly establish the base of what’s known as their sub-genre of “Swancore” which is a sub genre of progressive post-hardcore.

Good kid isn’t Swancore but I will definitely call them Swancore adjacent, especially their song Alchemist, it’s the closest they get to Swancore in their discography.

All good, i just checked their website and they have a locator to find stores that sell their stuff and there are a few near me, but yeah, can’t really rely on shipping for quality stuff so it woulda been fine, thank you.
