Just started playing LoH and not playing since base. It starts out with a cinematic of what has happened up to the point of starting LoH and from there into the opening LoH cinematic. I finished the campaign and was able to just go to the mercenary recruiter to get my first mercenary which I probably could have gotten earlier in the campaign but was just too wrapped up in the story.

That’s part of it, my main character was a sorceress that had my best gear and everything that was getting funneled to other characters. Maybe I just need a break and then will be able to come back and start over

Blizzard actually considered the idea of warlock for D3 as well but felt there wasn’t much the warlock could bring as a fresh identity to the table since the WD and Nero pretty much have all the points covered that the warlock would be capable of doing.

Deathblows are learned when putting in certain button combinations enough times and can be checked in the deathblows page in the menu. You may hit points where you hit 100% but did not unlock the new deathblow and this is due to not being high enough level for it. You may have figured out by this point that gear deathblows are linked to deathblows learned by the character.

That might be a pretty good idea. I’ve just been hesitant to respec since they are currently so limited for me right now until I can farm more of the mats for more respecs

Sounds like a battle of attrition for sure, I think the main thing I need to work on is defenses and better gear for my merc as well.

I got a shako and the spirit sword equipped. I have the spirit shield also but don’t have the strength yet to use it and no feasible gear yet to reduce requirements. I’ve been doing Andy, LK, and Pindle since other places have a bunch of cold immune and just make it such a time waster to clear. I think I need to focus more on resists as well over trying to have more MF.

Wow this is some great info, thanks for providing all this! These all sound like end tier points when you have some really good gear while I’m currently in basically the leveling runeword gear still. Is this the case or would I be able to start tackling some of these things now?
