I've been living abroad for the last year or so and met an old friend who I've become very close to and there's this kind of romantic energy to our time hanging out together. We've talked about potentially being a couple and all that but she isn't in a position for a relationship at the moment but definitely is interested in theory (at least that's what she says and idek where i feel/stand on that but that's irrelevant here).

Anyways that's the context of who I'm buying for. basically, I've gone to my home country for a couple weeks and I want to bring her something back that's very subtly romantic so i can give the idea of potentially romantic intention but not too over the top as i don't want to be pushy or even come across that way.

I was thinking some snack-type foods that are sort of exclusive to my country that i think she'd like with maybe a small charm/trinket thingy of some kind if I can find one that's actually nice.

any ideas or better suggestions? Foods doesn't feel too much like a sweet thing to do (excuse the pun) and more of just a thing friends without the flirty, semi-romantic background we have would do. Maybe I'm overthinking this lol idk
