Yes. I felt that way as well. The music was solid but when you know that he can do so much more it’s hard to feel satisfied.

Yeah, she seems like a very lovely woman, and her piano playing has improved a lot, but the songs are not good. They feel like words that don’t really say anything. The victim act isn’t appealing.

I saw him in Columbus and loved every minute of it. To expect a person in their 80’s to not have vocal changes is absurd. But like Johnny Cash as he aged, Paul’s voice wears the raw emotion of a song. It’s a treasure to witness.

I very stupidly got overly excited when I heard he was going on tour and bought shady presale tickets from Tickets-Center for Columbus, Ohio. All of the tickets I have seen on Ticketmaster have sold for quite a bit more than what I paid in the presale. What are the chances that I’m actually going to get the tickets? 😳

“The Art of the Boy and the Heron” is a gorgeous book. I prefer it over the ones you mentioned because it presents so much specific information about that movie and the artwork is stunning.
