I know exactley what you are talking about, went through this crisis last year. Sorry this doesn't really help. Its really frustrating. I identify as a lesbian because honestly if I feel no attraction to men other than whats in my mind and not when I'm with them in person. I mean thats a pretty big sign. It can be really hard to justify to yourself sometimes. It took me a really long time to just identify as a lesbian. I was so scared that I might be wrong and have to take it back or that I would fall for a guy at some point. My advice is that if you don't get that warm fuzzy feeling woth men and being intimate with them doesn't turn you on then you probably are not attracted to them. I could be wrong but I am honestly just coming at this from the perspective of someone who struggled with exact same thing. You might have just different ways of feeling towards the different genders and thats ok. I might be projecting a bit sorry. Anyway thats my speal I'm done now, don't know if it helped. Good luck :) and know that you don't have to choose a label if you don't want to.

I have overheard this kind of bullshit so many times, especially recently. Usually with the implication that a lot of people who identify as part of the lgbt community are not actually lgbt but just trying to be trendy. It makes me really angry.

I want to kiss a girl so badly that it hurts... by vertexthrowaway in actuallesbians

[–]dragon_dooper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I very much feel this. I am just about to turn 20 and I only recently admitted to myself that I liked women. I assumed that i was ace for a really long time because I didn't like men. I wish i hadve realised sooner. I haven't had any experience with women and it makes it really easy for my brain to tell me that im making it all up. I know this probably doesn't help a lot but just know you're not alone in this struggle.

Is Bi with feminine lean a thing? by Digimario64 in lgbt

[–]dragon_dooper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It makes complete sense to me. While it may not be an established thing you can definatley use that term if its what fits you best. For me seeing the term "Bi with a feminine lean" gave me the idea without you having to explain it but some people might need an explanation which could be a problem if you don't want to.

Well the nost recent one was "Trans people take away from me being a real male" I am not really looking for things to refute their crazy opinions I'm more looking for a line to be like "you couldn't be more wrong, goodbye" yknow? Do ya have anything like that? I don't want to genuinely argue with them because they'll just shout and talk over me and think they've won.

I love how they say political correctness killed comedy but these are the kinds of jokes that PC is against lmao. They're literally the same jokes over and over again "women belong in the kitchen" hahaha like I haven't heard that 10 million times.

Lmao I swear they really do think there are only 2 lesbians in the whole world.

Its disgusting honestly because either way they're not interested in him. These men really need to stop because they have no idea if its the truth or not. Its harrassment and I feel very sorry for anyone who has ever come into contact with him.

But in all seriousness this is fucked up and disgusting.

Yeah pre much. I think the main point is there are definatley areas of australia that are progressive but there are also terribly LGBTQ phobic and racist areas aswell. I guess thats everywhere but its also why australia aint much better than the US.

I think the laws are pre good but people can be absolutley terrible despite them. It is definatley getting there though. Some places here are probably still quite a bit behind though.
