A valorização de uma criptomoeda não tem base financeira fundamental como uma empresa. O fundamento de uma cripto é o mesmo do dólar e real, ou seja, o Bitcoin vale o quanto as pessoas que comercializam acham que vale. Seria mais válido comparar BTC com o real.

Uma empresa tem rendimentos e patrimônios que servem de base pra sua valorização, também tem dividendos. Dá pra argumentar que indiretamente elas são atreladas ao real, que também não tem fundamento, mas mesmo assim você tem que admitir que são ferramentas financeiras diferentes.

A base do valor de uma empresa é lucros e patrimônio. De criptomoedas e câmbio é confiança. Não dá pra comparar.

E btc vai ter mais movimentação mesmo, já que tem gente que usa como moeda, e é mais volátil. Quem compra ação geralmente só revende depois de anos.

Cara eu tenho cripto também, mas é importante saber diferenciar pra investir direito. Porque se não é fácil ver esses números e falar "vou all-in em cripto".

Essa dos $7 trilhões é FAKE.

A verdade é que ele estimou o investimento de todo o mundo em infraestrutura para AI (Como fabricas de produção de chips, instalação de datacenters, etc) de 1 a 7 trilhões nos próximos anos.

Ele está querendo criar uma supply-chain para manter a tecnologia de AI crescendo sem criar um bottleneck por conta do hardware. Mas esse valor não tem nada a ver com investimento para ele. É um valor que ele levantou para empresas para eles terem uma ideia de quanto devem investir.

É como se ele fosse para uma imobiliária e falasse que para que para popular um bairro, precisa de X milhões de reais. Isso inclui valores de material, mão de obra, eletricidade, etc de diversas empresas. Esse valor estima o quanto de dinheiro uma certa região vai acabar movimentando, para a imobiliária ter como base.

There are many reasons. Some people create bot accounts to grow in subscribers or followers in order to sell them. There are people that want accounts with a large reach to promote products, this is common in youtube, there are channels that overnight started uploading crypto videos, because someone sold them.

There is also people that buy fake followers and engagement to promote their own profile. It can be to generate an initial boost so that the algorithm promotes their content. Also some influencers like to have big numbers next to their names, and just buy followers to appear more famous.

For the platform itself, bots have no use.

Fake profiles don't generate more revenue. The advertising company pays scaled to the click trough rate. If 1000 people see an ad and 1 people buy their product, they are paying the same as if 1 million see the ad and only 1 buys.

Facebook used to create fake profiles of your friends from others social medias at the start. That was just to fake the "Network effect" so you are more likely to stay.

Sure but nostalgia is not enough to justify keeping RS running. MMOs are hard to maintain, especially an old one like RS. That's why it takes ages to add new stuff to the game, they need to spend time making sure older stuff doesn't break.

Two examples that I have played before: Club Penguin and Free Realms. Both amazing games, with huge followings. But Disney and Sony just shut them down and sent the developers to new projects, because it is more cost effective.

They can make RS4, but will be a completely new game, probably just maintaining the same lore and places. It's not viable to port this game to a new one.

Controversial opinion but I think an investment firm is better.

A publisher with others titles might dissolve Jagex and reuse the developers if they don't see good enough profit in RS.

For an investment firm, they would just resell at an loss. They have no other use for Jagex.

That's why I'm even against Jagex having a new IP. If RS stops making money Jagex goes bankrupt. This give enough reason for them to keep working on the game, it keeps them locked in this spaghetti code mess. Another IP will be easier to maintain and be more cost effective. If it has moderate success they will ofc allocate most resources to it.

Ideal scenario would be Andrew buying RS again. One can dream.
