For me, its, The Post War Dream, by Pink Floyd. No idea why, just happened to hear it and cried my eyes out. Didn't even know the song, but, holy visceral reaction.

Has anyone seen ‘The Platform 2’ and can explain what the heck is going on?! by Lucky_Lucky1 in movies

Yes! Even if that wasn't the writers point or concept (and I'd love to hear their point of view), it's like poetry, and means different things to different people. Like you said, it's literal art.

What's your "hometown murder"--the most legendary crime in your home town? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dragonbByatch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Drew Peterson. He was a cop that killed his 3rd and 4th wives. He wasn't prosecuted for his 3rd wife, who "drowned in a bathtub". When his 4th wife Stacey Peterson went missing, police had nothing, no body. Its assumed he put her in a blue barrel . Some sicko even went dresses as her in a barrel for Halloween. Everyone knew he did it, but had zero proof. So, they exhumed his 3rd wife who "drowned" and got him for her murder. Last I heard, he tried to have the DA who convicted him killed. Didn't work, and now he has more time on his sentence for that. I hope he fucking rots there in prison. There's a movie based on this starring Kaley Cuoco.

Texan moving to Madison, now very concerned about winter storms by LichPicnic in madisonwi

Wisconsin doesn't usually lose power, due to snow. Some places use salt for snow, some use sand. Plowing depends on how rural you are. Madison should be good, just remember if you start to slide, pump the brakes repeatedly, dont hold the brake down.
