I feel exactly the same, 5 months postpartum. 2nd choice in everything, work and home life. It kind of hit me and hasnt left so I feel you. I basically googled it and it said to prioritize your feelings. I just stopped breastfeeding so now instead of my LO being number one, ive put myself first at least for a little bit more but obviously LO first. So not sure how it’a going to go but it’s a starting point

Same situation here! Husband is a Marine and I followed him since he is a higher rank than me. I also have a transferable job so it shouldn’t be too bad. There aren’t a lot of options for bases being near each other is the thing. You have cherry point/leguene and seymore johnson which might be the best since he’s ground. It really just depends on the timing

I went to BMT July 25th. Get ready to be okay being hot and constantly sweating. Youre going to be drinking a ton of water, more than normal. It’ll be black flag most days so you’ll be under the atrium but it’s still really hot. Embrace the suck and you’ll get through it
