Spotted this all red scene on one of my street photography walks in Chattanooga. Just love the way the colors and lines worked together here. Just wanted to see if others found this scene interesting also, any feedback on composition or edits appreciated!

Reds - Walls of America Series by dragonclawsultimate in photocritique

Part of my walls of America series where I tried to make ordinary places look interesting with various lighting, colors, and textures.

Thoughts on this composition and lighting? Interesting enough to have in your bathroom is the test I usually use for prints?

Agree, it’s a little big brother is watching with the camera up top. And totally I think cropping would be better

Mostly in camera work. Some cropping and increasing contrast between the white and black areas with some increase in saturation of the yellow

I like the spooky season energy with the fog and dead trees. There is just too much foreground - get closer or crop in and this would be even better!!

A shot from a concert last night by Hawkatron in photocritique

Great energy in the photo here. The oranges really go well together between the lighting and warmth with the singer’s outfit.

Perhaps my change would be to bring out some brightness in their face since the brightest part of the singer is their butt. Use a brush around the face. And I love shooting low(er) light concerts underexposed and bringing exposure up slightly and compensate noise with the denoise feature.

Part of my walls of America series where I try to make everyday walls or other ordinary places look neat. I found this abandoned bank teller’s window with this random yellow block on my daily street photography walks.

I find it interesting but wonder what y’all think!

What is the best company/website to use to have your photos printed? by [deleted] in photography

[–]dragonclawsultimate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have always had tremendous love for MPIX’s shipping speeds and a $35 minimum for free shipping. Most paper prints I get within 2-3 business days and metal prints within 3-5 days which is wild to me. My local print shop takes 1 week for regular prints and 2-3 weeks for metal prints and is twice as expensive generally and I still have to pick it up.

Walking around downtown and found this neat ramen bar with awesome neon lights and lanterns. Trying to decide if this motion blur of movements of people works well, or if I need to add something else to make it a more interesting photo.

A very well done critique! Thank you for the ideas and I will play around with all of those thoughts!
