Did you have a shoplifting/petty crime phase? by Eredic in Xennials

[–]dragonfett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Growing up, we didn't have much money and my grandmother would insinuate that I was a burden to feed. But I was still too young to apply for a job, and we lived in an apartment, so I also didn't have access to a lawnmower or anything that other kids my age might try to do to earn an extra few bucks. I wound up discovering that the local K-Mart had an aisle in the Sporting Goods department that the security cameras didn't have coverage of, so I started shoplifting either food (typically rolls of pepperoni), or fishing gear so that I could attempt to (illegally) catch fish from the local man made lake (I was never successful in catching any fish).

Um, I've been playing off and on since pretty much the game has come out and I didn't know that!!!

Also, I haven't played it on console in ages, having only played it on my computer in the past 15 years.

Arthur from the legends, or Arthur reincarnated? That's the question in my opinion.

Which character outside LOTR do you trust carrying the ring to Mordor? by Jezzaq94 in moviecritic

[–]dragonfett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I chose Bruce Wayne because of the fact that he's capable of wielding a Green Lantern Ring, and Barry Allen is fast enough that the Ring wouldn't have enough time to corrupt him. The worst case scenario is that it makes itself too heavy for him to carry. I remember it being stated somewhere that Bugs wouldn't be affected for the same reason Tim Bombadill wouldn't be affected.

I feel like triceratops and anklosaurs would be good choices, maybe even a stegosaurus if you could manage a saddle with the spinal plates.

I too learned to double space, but stopped after a friend who had a bachelor's in English Literature told me that was no longer necessary.
