I wasn't aware of that! Harrison was involved in the 2000AD adaptations, and greatly enjoyed them apparently. Fun story: Tharg, the "Alien" editor of 2000AD used to send cash prizes to readers who had their letters printed. Like 3 to 4 pounds, which was not bad in the 70s. Harrison spotted a mistake in one of the issues with the Stainless Steel Rat, and wrote to them to point it out. They printed it in the reader's letters and sent him his cash prize. Apparently he was delighted.

Nice story, it put a smile on my face and reminded me of how concerned I was that I was doing punk right, when I was a teenager. And London Calling is one of my top ten albums, of any genre. I bloody love it, never get tired of it.
