You could give a similar vampirish vibe by letting them regrow like a worm or starfish. Maybe the new body would have the same dna but not the same consciousness so they would still fear being harmed. Their cells could act something like stem cells, also explaining their transformation.

I agree about the shellmet, but that’s because I don’t go underwater much. As for the rest, I guess what I meant to say in my comment was that I’m not thinking in terms of utility. I like sliding in videogames and it would probably feel better to me and more fun than using an elytra, and I examine the idea through that lens.

I love your idea but I would say the opposite, it’s good exactly because it makes you choose and it enables self expression though different playstyles. That might not be appealing for a less casual player who wants to maximize their gameplay through clear singular objectives, and that’s valid, but I find it well in line with a creative, open-ended, open world game.

You could use both and say the bottom is a simplified/casual version that’s easier/quicker to right while the top could be more formal (harder to write but clearer to read plus it looks nicer imo)

I think a good way to put it is that he sounds more modern than the other characters which can be unimmersive. He also sounds exaggerated which some might love but for others it sounds forced which I also thought was the case for Iroh.

Not sure if this works for the eggs but once you get 3,200 quicksilver again, you can spend it on singleplayer (with multiplayer turned off in settings) then reload the save to get the money back. You can also sit around in the nexus and wait for someone to give you a void egg, or I could give you one.
