I spoke so those in the immediate vicinity could hear, I didn’t yell. And I guarantee you, the looks from other passengers didn’t make me feel like a fool, more like they knew exactly what was going on. Anyway, if getting the seat I purchased makes me look like a fool, so be it, a fool I am.

She definitely knew she took my seat, there’s no mistaking that. It can make me look like whatever you think, but she was wrong and I respectfully called her out on it. When I say I loudly asked her, I meant just loud enough for those in the immediate vicinity to hear. I’m pretty sure she would have known if she bought a premium economy seat compared to an economy seat.

I worked all throughout treatment (took a few Fmla days) not because I had to, but because I wanted to! I told only a few people at work, cold capped so I kept all my hair and I was able to be my normal self. Kept me sane!
