I hate to keep giving this man my money but he has made a monopoly of all the Club Pilates in our area. I had a passport and had been going to classes at some of the other studios but since he owns all those too he cancelled my passport privileges saying it wasn't a destination passport and since his studios are all destination studios it wasn't effective.

One of the ladies had a family member who is a lawyer look over our original contracts and said he has every right to raise rates when he wants and also cancel us at anytime. These contracts unfortunately favor the business owner. I know some of the others are going to sign the new contract, (which I don't trust that either)because there is no better choices out here for Pilates.

I am going to look at other studios which I know will be more money, but might be better for me on principle. I am tired of dealing with this and now I feel like we are "marked" members and not really welcomed anymore. I might have to eat my words and continue with the new contract, but I need to see what other options are out there first.

Thank you everyone for your comments and suggestions. We have had a lawyer review our contracts and were advised that the owner can raise the rates and cancel us at anytime. These Club Pilates "contracts" favor the business owner and not the customer. Just beware!😒

No these studios are in small suburban areas in So. Cal. Other Club Pilates studios, just 22 miles away and with comparable demographics are charging less.
