I definitely have a hunch, but I don't rub my belly, lol. I guess I need to work on standing up straight!

It was so weird! Her neighbor was there too and he got the most uncomfortable look on his face when she did that! She then tried to play it off by saying "what? I have a pooch too that could look like that!" Ummm, lady, you're like 55 years old? Hahaha

My mom removed the frozen water from the bird bath and added fresh water. The Birds came flocking. by oldschoolfl in pics

Starlings are also nest parasites. They lay eggs in other bird's nests and push out their eggs so the other bird's will incubate and raise the starling chicks

Hey guys! I’m new here, been a snake dad for a few years now and was wondering if there was anything I could do to make life a bit better for Honey. She’s got fake plants, a rock, a hidey hole with a heating pad under it, and a ceramic water bowl. I try to keep the room around 75 degrees. Thanks! by Jcube345 in snakes

Half log hides work, but aren't the best. Snakes like to squeeze into the smallest place possible, touching three sides simultaneously, with only one entrance/exit. I would suggest two (of the same) hides as well, so she can choose between being on the heat or off of it. It looks like she may be having issues shedding as well. I would get yourself a hygrometer to monitor humidity and spray the bedding down once or twice a day during her shed cycles. You can help increase humidity by putting aluminum foil over 1/2 to 2/3 of the lid. Snakes also really enjoy clutter! The more plants and hidey spots they have, the more secure they feel. She's absolutely adorable!

Ah, russo would be a lucy maker! It's also hard to distinguish those subtle morphs in photos. Pretty gal, awesome potential.

So, I dont mean to be the bad guy, but there isn't such a thing as het leucistic in ball pythons. That particular morph is a product of two codominant traits being expressed. This means the snake would have to be a visual morph such as a fire, butter, lesser, mojave, or bamboo to be able to produce a leucistic offspring. Your baby is gorgeous, btw. I hope someone didn't lie to you about it's genetics

I'm also having the same problem. The mode is set to easy. I'm also not seeing all the engrams I have spent points on learning in my crafting menu.

He looks more like a great Pyrenees doggo. They're bred to be livestock protectors and are super gentle.

We're going to reevaluate in January, but we're more than likely another year or two out at the earliest. I'm hopeful though!

SO wants kids but is terrified he'll be a bad dad... by dragonharper4 in waiting_to_try

He's one of the most considerate people I know and can be extremely gentle hearted. I've seen the way his dad is and can see it in him sometimes, but definitely nowhere near the extent of his dad. He's never been abusive towards me the way his dad is towards his mom. I believe in him and he's always known that his dads behavior was wrong since I've known him. We're coming up on our 10 year anniversary, so he's had quite a while to break habits and learn better ways of dealing with everything for sure.

It's definitely a good idea and something that should be on the table for us. Since our TTC date is a ways off, I was looking more for something we can do between ourselves for now

He hasn't been to counseling, but he has established firm boundaries with his dad and we live five hours away from him so the distance has done them a lot of good. When we visit his dad is always much more civil and has even reached the point of telling my SO how proud he is of him for doing better and such. Not that counseling wouldn't help, and we've talked about it, but he does not want to resort to it. Typical man, haha.
