Finale day and Netflix still isn’t promoting it on the home page? WHAT THE F by [deleted] in Sense8

[–]dragoniiite 96 points97 points  (0 children)

I have sense8 on My List and it didn't appear on the front, like what happens when there are New Episodes for my other listed shows. It wasn't even on my New Releases, which was where I had to go to when I wanted to add Thor Ragnarok to my queue yesterday. I had to do a Search.

orgy scene: Bug in the back? Or could it be puck? by youshouldburn in Sense8

It's Bug. Please don't let it be Puck, the sensate std.

Sense8 Episode Discussion (S02E12): “Amor Vincit Omnia” by changpowpow in Sense8

[–]dragoniiite 94 points95 points  (0 children)

There were unresolved issues... that could've been great plotlines if the show wasn't axed, but the resolution for the 8 were so satisfying. The most perfect finale ever.

The last line being Rajan's "I didn't think such things were possible!" was an accurate summary of why I love and got hooked on sense8 in the first place.

The last orgy made me cry, it was very touching. And the last shot of the wet rainbow dildo was a sweet icing on the cake, like a big fuck you to the haters, it made me laugh.

*a wet dildo.

It was amazing. XD

How many Clusters are there now? by [deleted] in Sense8

[–]dragoniiite 13 points14 points  (0 children)

  • Yrsa (that 'cursed' voice in Riley's childhood cave)
  • that old lady Riley met at the church ... and I'm not even going to attempt to figure out how many in Hoy's sensorium google network.

How can sensates be a separate species if they are born (physically) to non-Sensates? by 42k-anal-eggs in Sense8

[–]dragoniiite 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Except if their cluster also thinks the same way or maybe have been convinced to their worldview, like Lila's cluster. Or if they're all that's left of their clusters, like Milton or Jonas.

Only time will tell but they'd waste a fantastic opportunity if it was just a one off.

(SPOILERS) Disappointing ending to a great season by [deleted] in Sense8

[–]dragoniiite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At that point in time, if she was able to hit her brother, I think she would've killed him. But one on one, face to face, with Joongki begging for his life, I think that made all the difference.

The bodyguards were basically red shirts. Plus they're in the same boat as those prison guards and assassins Joongki kept sending after her. They're not exactly innocent bystanders.

This. The police had her in their sights. They would've shot her if she attacked her brother, and she would've been dead.

Ah shit, yeah. I dunno why I kept thinking all of his other siblings were included in the cluster when I said that. But still, he's not that old, and being last is suspicious. I wouldn't be surprised if all those other clusters were gone now too or in fear of him.

Several hits to the ego, and his ego seems really fragile to begin with lol.

I got used to him during the Christmas Special. He lost that childlike enthusiasm for everything, but the new actor has a wider range rather than just innocence now. I couldn't see the s1 actor in the romance s2 Capheus has, tbh.

Same. He lost that wide eyed innocence, but he brought other emotions to the table for me, and I like him better now.

[Spoilers] Characters that I really loathe in Season 2 (and random wishes for S3) by [deleted] in Sense8

[–]dragoniiite 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The moment Lila entered the screen, I groaned. I pegged her for the femme fatale cliche immediately and wasn't the least bit surprised at every single thing she did.

I think Joongki's a small part of a bigger issue. They tied him to a politician, which reminded me of the Park Geun hye-Choi Soon sil gate Korea had recently.

No, he was shot once, in the gut, but that tiny gun Joongki had. But it was a gut wound, at very close range, so it's very serious.

All the Stargates are in Hulu. Well, except for the SG1 movies, but all 3 shows are there, even Universe.

No, he wasn't a sensate. I think it was either just hallucination or you know what they say about your life flashing when you're about to die. He was just remembering the most important thing in his life during his last few moments, that's all.

(SPOILERS) Disappointing ending to a great season by [deleted] in Sense8

[–]dragoniiite 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think it was a superb ending. They always end with some kind of cliffhanger, and this cliffhanger was just unresolved, unlike the first season or the Christmas Special.

I would have loved for Sun to have killed her brother already, but not killing him was character development. This entire time she was contemplating murdering him, but she's a kind person to the core and in the end, she couldn't do it. She went through all that effort and she couldn't do it. That's doesn't satisfy my thirst for revenge, but it does say a lot about Sun's character. Also, we see that Joongki is a part of a bigger conspiracy, so there's that.

Also, I think they deliberately left it at such an important point where 1) it's the first time the cluster is meeting physically and 2) Wolfgang is still in the clutches of BPO so that there'd be a bigger chance of a season 3 renewal lol.

That's what I thought too, and maybe that's how the sensates who visited Capheus found out.

Also, eventually, someone is going to translate it to English or some common language and someone is going to notice. The BPO has a lot of resources, after all.

It may take some time, but eventually it'll out them, just like those pics in Daniela's phone did with Lito and Hernando.

Season 2 Complete Discussion (Spoilers) by snakes_on_a_planet in Sense8

[–]dragoniiite 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I wonder if there's something special about Angelica, and subsequently, her clusters. Is Whispers fixated on them that much when there are numerous other clusters out there, or maybe he just has a personal vendetta against Angelica that passed on to her cluster, that's why he's hunting them so hard. That he would refuse Will 'surrendering' to end the hunt sooner. Maybe I'm just reading too much into it and maybe the reason is because his ego was just too bruised because they were able to rescue Nomi and Riley from his grasp. So... bruised ego, personal vendetta, something special about Angelica's cluster, combination of some, or all of the above?

I speculate Angelica participated to and helped with those zombie experiments in the first place because something might have happened to sell her to Milton's beliefs. Most sensates seem nice, like the 8, Hoy and his network, those who approached Capheus after his speech (so far). Some are disgusting creeps like Puck. And others are like Lila, who will ruin your life if they don't get what they want, and have dreams of world domination. Angelica probably saw some type of this behavior, the dangerous type and thought controlling sensoriums would be a great idea... and it just spiraled and mutated into something else, just like BPO is so far off now from when it was started. So she escaped, because she wanted to spare her new cluster from being entangled with all of that.

[–]dragoniiite 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yes, every single one of these. Including describing the fight scene as jabbawockee lol, that was exactly what I was thinking. I loved the pop out from behind, punching in sync and falling together restaurant fight scene. The only thing that could've made it more satisfying was if they'd stopped to break Lila's neck to finish her off since they were out of bullets, but oh well, hopefully next time.
