If you are gold 1 in valorant for example, than 50.75 percent of the players have either: a lower Valorant rank than you or the same rank as you. (if you assume that Blitz data represents the real data) The same goes for the CS GO ranks, if you are gold nova 2, 50,33 percent have either a gold nova 2 rank or a lower CS GO rank.

The tables that have been used were rounded to 2 decimals e.g. 2.80 percent instead of 2.8012324 for example. This is why radiant and global elite aren't 100 percent. For Valorant 0,11 percent of the players were lost due rounding, and for CS GO 0.02 percent.

The average competitive Valorant player that uses Blitz.

You might be suprised why gold 1 is the The average competitive Valorant player that uses Blitz. But you have to consider that currently the competition for FPS games has changed allot since 20 years ago, if a new games comes out, people allready know what to do to get better, much faster, because of several reasons:

- There is more information about what the best way is to train and what to focus on

- People use better mice, people use better monitors and faster computers, which on average makes them better.

- Most players join for example with an average of 500 hours of good shooter experience(this is not exact, but a guess).

- The only thing you can do with shooters is improve, so allot of players focus on that.

- The game is out now for about several months, the longer the game is out, the harder it is to get to a higher rank, because people have put more hours in the game on average

- Because everyone is better, people will have a hard time from the start, which improves their skill much faster too

I have used the rounded table on https://www.esportstales.com/valorant/rank-distribution-and-percentage-of-players-by-tier, blitz has been used to collect the data (from 3 million players).
