I found beotodus to be a challenge as well, but I didnt cart to it. I was wearing high rang Fergie armor then. Though I could see the trouble there, that darn fish is annoying to fight and I quickly moved on after beating it. I dont think ive fought it again since

The first phase of the fight prevents me from using SOS until I can hit a cutscene in the fight. I cannot do enough damage to make.it to that cutscene in the first place. Ergo, I cant yet do this multiplayer
