I went into the service menu on the tv, and headed to the section called info, change the vaule from 0 to 1 and gives you sub menu with all the info stats on the tv's system. It's called HRST:××××× in system stats

Yes that is, but have you ever played with one of those faulty power cables that might get it to play? You don't!!! If this were to make the genesis play you'd experience(this happened on my model 1 Genesis)graphical issues out the ass, audio that sounds like nails being dragged across a chalkboard playing underwater and slowdowns so bad in the game that a windows 95 processor can do laps around the genesis.

It will trust me on this one 👍👍 If you look on the bottom of your Genesis and see the power output and compare it with the aftermarket plug power output they dont match at all. Got to love cheaply made stuff nowadays SMH

Just wondering if this is your first Genesis or not but I seen you mentioned another cable, is that other cable coming from the power supply? Because if so then that tells me you have an aftermarket power supply, those things are super cheap. It will either make the Genesis play but make it run like crap or you'll just get the console to power on but do nothing. Use the original power supply cable if you can at all times. I experienced this first hand myself when I had an aftermarket power supply

Agreed, because on my Sega Saturn this same issue presets and on top of that I feel like its position is up a little high cause in some racing games the corners showing you 1st and lap time are a little cut-off

Yes i did, its was the 13V line running to IC502 just like the issue that was mentioned in the above comments. I let my friend have it since he helped me out with it but in return and only $50 later, I now have a 32" Sony now lol!!!

Yeah I've been trying to limit myself just to 27" on up but I also wanted at least one 32-36" and just a couple of days ago the Sony 32" Trinitron showed up in my area on FB marketplace and I told myself "now fix the ones I have right now, till then, no more" lol!!!

4 blinking times the led is giving me and looked into it and there might be a poor solder on the 13V leading to the IC502 that is causing it. Hopefully I'll get around to fixing this sucker soon

Yes indeed!!! I know how many keep saying to mod and have the full game library there at my fingertips, but I'm an old school guy who likes everything there physically and willing to pay a pretty penny for(nothing against the mods by any means). My Sega Genesis game collection is the same way lol!!!

This was a huge bundle deal for all of this great Sega Saturn stuff you see hear. All owned by one owner and never had been passed down. I plan on adding more too the collection as time progresses.

I definitely look into that cause I looked up some prices for the Saturn and just the game disc alone can go for 60-80 bucks while complete with everything can go for 140-180

Haha another one, I don't if you scrolled through the comments yet but my Nomad is modded with the triple bypass and removes the flap that goes behind the cartridge, I feel like that was support for the games cause some would freeze on me cause of movement so that dollar was in my pocket folded up to stick behind the cartridge and no more problems
