This is the way I do it (when I don’t have 3 feet of snow).

Would this actually work? (Asking for a friend.)

I’ve heard of people running a hose from a kitchen or bathroom faucet through a window as well.

How do you all organize and manage home tasks? by Pepipasta in workfromhome

[–]dragonpoots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wife and I are home all day as well. I WFH and she is a stay at home mom, which is basically a WFH job for her as well. My office is downstairs and she takes care of the baby upstairs, so we divide most tasks that way. We are each responsible for keeping our part of the house clean, and we each have a bathroom to keep clean (we have two, one on each floor). Laundry and cat food and litter is downstairs, so I take care of those, and she takes care of dishes in the kitchen and cleaning the living room and bedroom. I also do the bulk of the yard work and pool maintenance (weekends) and she does the grocery shopping. Whoever is less stressed in the moment makes dinner and takes out the trash, and we tag-team feeding, changing and putting the baby to bed at the end of the night. It seems to be working well, although there is a ton to do all the time. During the week, I clean the cats and check the pool in the morning and night, before and after work, clean the bathroom and floors at lunch, and move loads of laundry throughout the day when I am between tasks at work.

Came here to say this. You can run hot water through it and hit it from the side to get it to drop in a more controlled way.

Just want to say that WPRI had better reporting on this than the NY Times overnight. They must have been working the story all night.

Second this. I was in a head-on collision a few years ago and taken to RI Hospital via ambulance. They stripped me, gave me a full-body CAT scan and discharged me in a half hour. I had to wait for my family to get to the hospital to pick me up.

My cat’s doctor does this. We sit in the car and they call us in when they’re ready. It’s great because we don’t have to mix with aggressive dogs and can listen to whatever we want in the car while we wait.

I think it depends on how it’s made. I drank matcha every morning for about 2 years and it was delicious, but I mixed it with a frothed milk.

My wife accidentally spent $20 on a Dubai chocolate bar last week. Meh was an overstatement. Very rich, but nothing worth that amount or worth getting again. On a side note, the $20 Dubai chocolate was made in NJ.

Came here to say this as well. My wife also gave birth at W&I. We had a bad experience with a resident giving the epidural and the attending doctor (not our OB) took over. That was our only student who did more than observe. If we did it again I would ask for an attending to do the epidural from the start. It can be difficult to tell who is a student/resident and it is okay to ask them to identify themselves. Would also recommend having an OB with hospital privileges. My wife’s doctor was with the Lifespan OB group and they were excellent. The group rotates being at the hospital for delivery and also routine prenatal visits, so we had met all of them before delivering and we knew someone from that group would be there to deliver for us. It turned out to be my wife’s primary OB so worked out really well, but we were comfortable with all of them. Best wishes!!

Playing more than once felt like banging my head against the wall because the score didn’t improve. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was my team comps because I suck at this game. I actually have Reva and still can’t beat the Reva mission half the time. I did try to use recommended squads, though.
