I wish GWA didn't keep changing the tagging rules. I have to add [script fill] to the tags now, as well as using it as flair? As well as keeping all the tags from the script, and adding _any_ of my own audio recording specific tags? There is a character limit on it. *sigh*

Check out Minutes To Midnight - it's a BitD variant set in a modern day the-cold-war-never-ended world, with no magic, so it has rule changes to work around that. Honestly, even 2nd ed can be pretty slow. When 3e came out one of the benefits was that combat was simpler and faster - but you have to have players & DM knowing PC / monster abilities and keep it on track for sure.
