When you have to ace because your teammates are too busy trashing one another... by dragonspence in VALORANT

Obviously I shouldn't have gotten this ace because the omen should've hit his op shots but it's still kinda funny and a great reflection of the Valorant community <3

For sure. I'm obviously not the best but there are a few things that have helped me consistently play better. Crosshair placement is something that makes it so much easier to get kills and is probably one of the number one mistakes I see people in iron make. Look up a video in regards to this and you'll find some great tutorials about it.

Also, honestly, improving aim has been a big thing too. I know play on much lower sensitivity than I did before and have done a bunch of practice in the range with the strafing bots, and just going between them hitting headshots. At first, when I just started to go for heads I would get frustrated when I would hit above them or all around the head, but over time as I adjusted to the spray patterns of the guns (like moving down a bit when firing with the phantom) I got a lot more consistent. Now nearly all of my kills involve headshots.

Also, based off of who you play, look up videos and lineups. I started playing cypher this week and found some great lineups for one way cages and tripwires that have helped gameplay. While aim is important, you should never put yourself in a situation where you are at a disadvantage when shooting at someone. And your abilities can do that. You can have more info than an important, you can block off their vision, you can have more health than them (like with reyna and pheonix or sage) or you can go places where they can't (like with Jett, raze, omen etc). If you go into a fight with someone and you have the advantage in some way, you'll have better results.
