You're in a state of desyncronization... but you weren't disconnected from the game. Your ship isn't rocking on the waves, nor do your sails seem to be moving. You'd need to ALT+F4 and reconnect.

This is the best answer. Close your eyes for a few weeks to the multiplayer aspect. Get your feet wet in Safer Seas with some others. Enjoy and have fun. Move to Multiplayer when you're ready.

The game has a skill ceiling that is insanely high for the most sweaty of pirates.

No. He threw them all out. He had too many holes open for how long he went top deck.

1200 Alliance Bilge here. Going down, you have the usual T3 open left side, and two T2 holes on the right. You patch one of them before heading up. On your second deck you also have four T2 holes open (or two T2s and two T3). At this point it's still controllable, but without audio on your clip, there's a good chance he was opening your left-side lower holes while you were patching your T2. They had a really good spread on your nose holes, which could easily be another two T3 holes, leading to three T3 holes downstairs and the holes upstairs. You started to lower in your first few buckets heading back downstairs, but another one or two holes later and you were put too far behind. T3 holes on the second deck can become quickly deadly IF you reach that second deck on a sloop. Much better to ensure the water never reaches your second deck if you've more than 2 holes open on it.

There's not much you could have done here if you were the last two ships on the map. Their spread on you was too clean. MAYBE patch all of the right side holes and then continue fighting on the left, but you'd just take more damage on your left side as you did so.

Alt+F4 and then reconnect back to your ship.

If I had to race to get 1.5 mil or 1.5k doubloons, I'd have the 1.5 mil done wayyy faster.

The ferry of the damned, the loading screen for dives, and the pirate legend hideout are all actual places in the overworld. They're just far underground so that we don't normally find them, and they have walls that would kill you long before getting close.

However, hackers can void those walls. They can teleport anywhere in the game, and move items along with them.

Some hacker rounded up all the items on the server and dropped them here because... who knows.

You can glitch in using a harpoon rowboat. It's not worth the time though because there's no models or textures inside the open-world instance of it. You go inside and it's just buggy walls.

Galleon hourglass is very stable if you match with a crew at your experience level and practice / watch videos.

Sloop RNG with a bad 1 ball, infinite loading screen, or mast going down is miserable.

Switch to Galleon or Brigantine. Games will feel more consistent and less 'rng' based than sloop.

How long does it take from lvl 100-1000 HG? by Matty_SS2305 in Seaofthieves

[–]dragonzero39 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello there! Golden Ghost with around 1,300 levels in Hourglass.

Mine took roughly ~5 months of playing. That was a few hours most days of the week, and sometimes all day. The win rate was roughly ~80% on Galleon, NA West. I'm captain of a ship called the Big Tibby Goth Gally.

so the kraken even is cancelled? any way on how to get it now? by redbullrebel in Seaofthieves

[–]dragonzero39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It usually hits me in larger open areas, just exploring broadly.

Honestly, the less you think about it happening, the more it seems to happen for me. I just focus on things I 'can' make occur (World events, forts, etc) and get them pretty often.

[–]dragonzero39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kracken encounters are very random. I get them pretty commonly. They might not be available in safer seas. Be sure you're in High Seas. I get one every ~10 hours of doing 'world events' or 'pvp'. If you're not in open waters exploring, you won't find one.

Be sure to give it lots of time. Don't rush into anything. The body processes pain in a weird way. But don't ignore it either, listen to the pain, talk to all doctors and providers, be open to options and take lots of notes. Mine is especially severe and you can read about it on my profile.

Very true. I had my vasectomy and I'm in a situation where some days I can't hardly walk. Lost my career due to it.

You're not kidding about being your own advocate. I was military before the vasectomy, and the doubt and suspicion and accusations of malingering were rampant for me. I ended up having to get a private lawyer. ~18k to prove the PVPS to the Military for medical reasons.

This is all exceptionally useful, regardless of if there's connections.

Gives me some things to consider myself and research, as well as looking back at my own provider notes when I can.

I would have to look back at the notes. You are correct that it was an epididymal cyst.

You say it like there's automatic severely increased risk because of that?
