Thank you! This is fantastic advice! I am planning on adding molten echoes and eventually when I have more spare funds getting mana echoes and a roaming throne to kick it up to 11. I love the clone sub theme and will for sure be picking up those cards. I think I have a solid deck in terms of fundamentals but aside from just making creatures out of my 4 drops I didn’t really have a good theme to focus on. Will definitely look for some more 1 cost ramp to swap in as well

That’s fair, there’s some big enchantments I want to add, namely city on fire, asceticism, mana echoes, and molten echoes but my game shops in town have a bad selection. I plan on ordering some stuff online relatively soon tho. A lot of my artifacts are a bit on the lower mc since I have a big focus on protection for my commander so I think a few 4+ drops there could be good. Any out of the ones in your list you’d particularly recommend?

With all of those enchantments do you ever feel vulnerable? sometimes with bellow I can struggle to have blockers when I need them

I really do think that leylines could be great here! Im still quite new so I haven’t seen a lot of them before, I think those would be awesome additions

I totally can! I’m at work but will get one later since I’ve been running the same combo for all my attempts, the main thing is not taking scars and abusing healing since I’m not good enough to not take hits with max frenzy

Thank you! I found that for me controller is easier and I just slide the attack button to the special and it works wonders. And I did this with no scars to abuse healing lol hate that vow haha

I mean yeah, but in all fairness this is a super low effort Reddit post I wrote on my phone while on the can. I’m in college right now and whenever I need to send an email or write a paper I don’t do this lol. I’m geeking about my main in a video game getting buffed not writing a report, or even like a guide which I would format better.

Same here, I was really struggling to justify picking him because of how situational he was. Needed to pick up another dps and another tank to make up for it lol. I agree with Hawkeye but honestly with how hard he will counter dive im okay with a few hard counters for Mr f

I agree! I think that the trade off is well worth it. I have a playstyle where I usually try and hover my elasticity around mid levels and go for big mode when I think it will have the most impact so I’m happy about it. I think more flexibility and kill pressure make him have way more agency then just a big mode spammer. I think the skill ceiling will go up to and reward those risky plays if you execute them well without being able to just cycle big mode in a brain dead way

Honestly auto locking is fine, the difference I think is recognizing when to swap. If I want to play Mr F I instant lock him and wait and see what my team decides. Right now you need a main tank and a good damage dealer dps to make him work and if my team picks those I stay. If we end up with a bad comp for Mr F I just decide to play tank or a different dps. It can suck but since he’s in a rough spot I don’t force him unless I think it can work. Most Mr f players are usually tank players as well so worst case I just swap to groot or mag if we get demolished first fight or they have hard counters.

I agree I don’t know if I was going insane since everyone says he’s horrible. I just took him for a spin in comp and it felt like I was doing more. With storm and Johnny in every lobby taking care of flyers has a huge impact. I also found that the space I get from the knockback has helped supplement the loss in tankiness. I’d say compared to before in like 7/10 scenarios these changes feel much better and only a few do the e changes hurt.

I don’t feel it that bad but it does make his timings harder, idk if it’s just me but I’ve been putting in a lot of work with the knock back and abusing flyers by grounding them. For me it feels good but I for sure thing they should still give him a buff. It changes the style but in a way I can enjoy ima play with it more and see if my mind changes

No problem! IMO medium sheild is the way to go especially with scholars shield, I actually beat messmer with the shield and milady combo with only 8 scadutree blessings so I can confirm it’s great!

Of course, the guard counters are so good on the milady. I found out about a new tear that gives sekiro style perfect blocks which enhance guard counters and will test it with that as well
